Removing a large sticker from windowscreen - glued on?
Comments

Definitely complain about where the stickers are being placed. If memory serves, they leave themselves open to prosecution, because the vehicle cannot be moved while the screen is obstructed. Stickers should only be placed on side windows, and even then, only if they don't obstruct the drivers view (rear windows are preferable).
Is there anywhere i can find this out for defo? so i can have it to hand when i approach them

Not sure, only way I found out is because someone at work had it done to them, and they complained. Company then stopped stickering windscreens. I guess asking at your local cop shop would be the best place.
Also, get a bottle of RainX. Get a good coating of that on all your windows, and the stickers don't stick. Did it myself when somone at work was being a bit of a PITA for parking. Was fun seeing the look on his face when I walked up, hoiked the sticker off in one piece and then drove away

Do they sell Rain X in wilkos??

If the stickers don't come off cleanly (no residue etc), this is criminal damage - same law used to prosecute graffiti artists and claim the costs of 'cleaning up' after them.

Not sure, but deffo in most car accessory places, some hardware stores and possibly in supermarkets like Asda et al. Worth asking anyways. Even if you don't want to stop stickers, it helps keep your windows clear of water, and the ice comes off easier...Do they sell Rain X in wilkos??

i know it so dangerous, on the side window would surfice, i was only 15 mins and i did think it was the dentist car park -it practically is .
You should think yourself lucky it was only a sticker, round here you would have had a big yellow clamp and no cheap after shave or WD40 would have helped get that off !!0 -
If they think that you won't park there again then its got to be better than clamping and all the related hassle and cost.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
