Scaredy, I go away on my own quite a lot (well, when I can afford it!). This is going to sound really selfish, but I prefer it. I can go to the museums/galleries/bars that I want to, when I want to. I don't have to worry about other people not liking certain types of food, or only wanting to sit around a pool.... And if I end up too tired one day to do anything then I'm not letting anyone down. Staying in hostels is great, because there's a lot of other single travellers and you just get talking to people. I stayed in one in Paris where I was talking to someone, and an American stranger came in and it turned out they were from the same uni and had a load of mutual friends! Everyone's so friendly, and share tips on good places to go and eat.... I really enjoy it.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Just sitting here getting ready to go out. I am going for a Chinese with some people from work (although I don't really want to go now because it is so cold) and I was just thinking I really cannot remember the last time I went out, where I was putting on make up and getting a bit dressed up.
How sad
