  • Afternoon all... What a day, I am glad I can stay home now :T Work done, overtime sorted (plus put my name down for most of it next week (if it fits in main department) this debt will be gone soon), dog walked, gift dropped at friends house, dog fed, cat fed, rabbit fed :D Now I am debating if to vaccum downstairs, I did it yesterday but Dolby thinks its fun to deposit Thomas grit from his dirt box all around the house

Plan for tonight... make 2 more snowflakes, drink 2 litres, enter 80 comps at least, sort this coming months budget and maybe wrap the last three gifts for Mum

    Have a fab evening all...
SRM ~ Enjoy your girls night out
Elfen ~ *hugs* hope the pain subsides soon...
Sammy ~ Grr at man flu, hope he doesnt put on you all weekend

Hi to anyone I have forgot :o Loves ya....
  • Two litres! :eek::confused:
I'm getting to be an ironing obsessive - just done 4 bits rather than have them lying around.
I'm liking the look of this government boiler scrap scheme - my boiler must be garde Z at the most. :rotfl:

I think I need a drink, I read 'snowflakes' as 'snowballs' as in the sickly cocktail and thought you were going to drink 2 litres of it :rotfl:

Are we talking wine or gin here? :D

I would think my boiler would qualify. Plus npower are doing £400 off if boiler over 10 years old which it def is. This site seems to think you can combine the 2 if qualify on efficiency rating too.

I don't actually like snowballs much, too sickly and sweet, but it's been a long week so they'd do :rotfl:Choccies sound interesting!

That's what happens where I work so probably applies in most places :D

    I've got a headache now...

The flights had booked, going out on Jan 4th, coming back on the 8th. But then I realised that the hostel I'd seen actually said 'from' £9 a night, and it's actually going to be a total of £72 instead of £36. Decided to book it anyway, but it only accepts visa or mastercard, as do the second and third cheapest. Phoned my bank cos I was told a couple of months ago that my Maestro is becoming a Mastercard, and it's on it's way and should be with me in 3-5 working days. So I'll book the hostel then. So overally 4 nights in Venice is going to cost me about £35 more than two nights in London, but I can make that up easily - I wont be using petrol/getting graze boxes/paying a cleaner for the week I'm there, and some things (like travel) will cost me less altogether when I get there. Plus, since it's a hostel, I'll be able to buy in some bits of food instead of eating out all the time.

The Vitruvian man's going to be on display while I'm there too, so hopefully I'll be able to see it.

And, of course, it means that I'll sadly be unavailable to be sister's skivvy!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

That's brilliant Ames, but are you following me round the world - first Barcelona (where I was last month), then Venice (where I'm going in 11 days time :D ) :rotfl:

Didn't know about the Vetruvian man, thanks for mentioning that - must have a look to see when the galleries are open while we're there.
