In pain, the red army have decided to invade and brought with them pain. Had painkillers, can't find a decent heat pack that'll look ok....tired, hurty, just had enough. Asked about the mirena, cant get an appt with the dr who does them til 30th, and no guarantee she'll give me one. I really hope she lets me have it, cos I'm sick of getting pain down my legs, up my back, in my hips and lady bits. I'm all sore and grumpy.

    Not much of an upside

Ouch, that sounds nasty. Can you get some better painkillers from the docs in the meantime?

Most of the wheat bags I've seen have lavender in, and I'm allergic to it :/
Didn't ask for painkillers as that'll be another £8 eaten from my soul. When the stupid HC thing is sorted then I might get some, depends if i have to pay or not. Am gonna go and have a wander as it helps to walk....sitting hurts my hips and I have to sit funny to not put weight on other bits

I do it all because I'm scared.
  • I have a wheat bag on my back at the mo (pmt pains), and yes, it does smell of lavender. My OH says it smells like old ladies :rotfl: I heat it up at night and take it to bed with me. We don't tend to have the heating on at night, so the bedroom is freezing. They are fab, it's just a shame they smell so, ummm, funny.

Elfen, how old are you? Could you go to a sexual health drop in centre? The ones round here are great, but only for under 25's.

Sally, I hope Bea gets better soon.

I'm so annoyed! I realised last night I can go to Venice for 4 nights for less than 2 nights in London would cost. Went to book it this morning and decided at the last minute to think about it some more, went to book this afternoon and the price had gone up by a fiver, and then the site crashed and couldn't tell me whether my booking had gone through. I haven't had an email so it probably hasn't, but I don't want to try and book again and end up with two bookings, or wait and the price go up even more.

But I got an xmas card from Graze this morning, and two gift vouchers. I'm not sure if I can use them myself or if I have to give them to someone else, I'll soon find out though!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

That's a good idea Ames, the one here does all ages.

That is a pain! When are you planning to go though? If it's a while off I wouldn't worry too much about the flight prices, they seem to have "sales" all the time.

A couple of people on here know how to make wheat bags, so you could make one without lavender in it. Get some co codamol from the chemist....97p...
