What's wrong with the occasional tea break :)
  • as i said only close family members have used it

I don't think that an uncle or grandfather really come under the heading of "close family members" in this situation.

Do all of the bank statements have the same address, as that's what the company will look for.

Hope you get this sorted OP...

Just sticking my oar in to say that I've probably PERSONALLY used around 15 different cards in the last four years - between credit card tarting and opening current accounts for bonuses I've been through some serius plastic... in fact I should probably be ashamed of myself from a Green point of view :D

There will also be a pattern. If cards were lost/stolen then they would be used up until a certain date then another card would take over so in theory, providing there weren't multiple card numbers being used around the same timeframe then you defence could have some grounds. Of course this isn't evidence but perhaps a pattern of buying the same goods on one card which changes over to another (same goods) may help back things up.

Your financial institution should be able to provide you with the back paperwork that you require as they are not allowed to destroy this for a certain period of time. You will have to pay of course. I rather think that unless you do this, then the multiple/lost cards will not wash with his employers.

Is there anything stopping you from doing this?

I take it your son works for b@q?

If i am right then they use the kingfisher discount card which allows you 2 cards. One for the member of staff and one for a named person within the same household.
If you have been sharing the second card between all members of the house then it is still misuse of the card under the terms the cards were issued by.

No problem, if you mean the proper advice which would be to not take the P out of the company
