I have purchased a couple of wii games to resell, they have been confirmed as despatched from the company that I bought them from, is it best to wait until they arrive (mon/tues next week) or could I list them in the next few days?

I'd list them now say on a 5 or 7 day listing if its auction, the hopefully by the time they sell and the buyer pays you should have them, but if you are listing them on a buy it now I'd hang on a few days.

Don't forget to check out Quidco when cashing in old phones as you may get a little bit extra cash back

I had a look on quidco last night, only joined up last week :o shame on me the amunt i buy online should have done it along time ago lol. When i checked on quidco i could find any offers ontrading in old mobiles, unless i have missed 1??
  • i would wait until sunday evening to list them for 7 days...

It seems to me (and please please correct me if I'm wrong) that it would be best to BUY things off ebay to sell at carboots. From my limited knowledge of carboot sales, flea markets and charity shops, items seem to sell for more there than on ebay. Especially CDs and DVDs. Or have I got it the wrong way round?!

Hi ,I'd say it's the other way round. What I've done with these items in the past is offer to buy everything from carbooters,so if they have 100 cds offer a fiver. They can only say yes or no ! Do this several times and buyers will accept your offers -Trust me.

I always remember Kevin & Perry CD use to go for £30.00 ish...not sure what the latest price is ? It had loads of great dance tracks on it !

Keeeeeeeeep listing (think of Bruce and Tess saying this ):T:T:T

Mazuma is on there and I have seen others, they seem to have changed the website but its there somewhere.

Just had a look, go onto website theres a blue band across the screeen towards the top with all the types of merchandise - go into the mobile bit and it includes all those who will buy phones back, some offer £4.50 cashback on top of the companies buy back price, probably have to be a top of the range phone- my son only got 75p for his but its better than nothing

Definetly a 10 day listing. It will give you time to get your items and they will hit two weekends, finishing on a Sunday evening (Peek Bidding)
    your choice ! :T:T

skintbint - the cakes are amazing !!! What part of the country are you in?

hi i'm in Tayside so am looking to start locally and offer a delivery service, (at a fee of course but will need to keep that to a minimum) have had an enquiry regarding a motorbike cake  that one will take some figuring out but with trial and error i will manage it some how, have managed to make business cards - could have got some free from Vista print but wanted one with one of my cakes on it and found i was too "grippet" to pay what they wanted for them.
(grippet - the art of keeping your money and not parting with a penny unless you have to!)

Have managed to bag myself a p/t cleaning job of 4 hrs a week paying £40, its only temporary but even 2 or 3 weeks is a bonus - not really what i seen myself doing to hit the £10k but at £10p/hr i'll clean anybodys loo:rotfl:and who knows maybe there's another business in the making!!! am i the only numpty who looks at everything now and thinks how could i make money out of that or is there a profitable business venture here? (please say i'm not!)
