I'm a complete techy muppet so please forgive my ignorance .... I have about 4 old mobiles I want to send off but do I need to take the sim out first? and is there anything else I need to do? TIA :o

whichever company you choose, they will generally have a guide of what you need to send. I have always taken out sim and reset phone back to factory default.

    Hi there,
that's why I suggested people investing in collectors items or second hand items. New items can be sold by thousands, therefore creating a cheap or cheaper market in time.Rare collectables or items hard to find sell very well.Sometimes profits can be great, sometimes not so great, but investments can be very little.Over the last few days I have sold over £300.00 worth of goods from an outlay of £20.00.I have only sold 2% of the items I purchased ! For obvious reasons,I do not want to tell you what.Try and find a subject that interests you, that's always a good start.
    Thanks,and be careful.

Happy New Year to everyone and thankyou for your interest in my thread

I've decided to only do second hand things, when I make my bags I will make them out of second hand things, like the 99p rail of clothes at the charity shop!

I also want to brush up on my collectors knowledge :S

mrsm and rachelja - I'd send them a rather peeved email stating that their FAQ still states £20 minimum withdrawl and that you would like them to honour this and see if they will give you your money back.

I have saved their FAQ page as a .htm file and done a PRNT SCRN and will send them to anyone who needs it as proof

Are there any restrictions on withdrawals?
The minimum amount that you can withdraw is £20, if you request a withdrawal for a smaller amount the request will be rejected and the funds will be returned to your account. Also, you may not make a withdrawal unless you have previously deposited on the site. Withrawal requests will be declined and the player account may be disabled if a player attempts to make a withdrawal immediately following a deposit without demonstrating an intent to play the site fairly with the deposited funds.

Also meant to say about the people doing carpentry things, a thing that I wanted a couple of years or so ago was a personalised picture frame. I couldn't find a UK seller on Ebay so had to buy one of Ebay Australia! Might be an idea. Could be seasonal too. I bought one for the grandparents to put a piccie of the kids in.
