Won £15 on Bingobritain today-now withdrawn-10p on scratchcard but still haven't done slicethepie yet! Got to do it. Will get back to survey sites later, I started doing them last year but got sooo bored, I gave them up.

I'm researching some ideas I've come up with about starting up a small business, but it's going to take some time, plus I'm disabled so need to try and do something which I can fit around my physical and cognitive difficulties. I'm still positive though :j

Can I please be added to the list as little numbers coupled with a challenge in my signature keep me motivated (sad, I know :o)

    Good luck everyone

we should have a secret code, do not mentions mse;) as htey might get thier scouts out nosing:rotfl:

what about ummmm let me think....

ok maybe we should say 'anyone had kippers today':rotfl:

how does that sound........ok get the straight jacket....

    kippers shall be the keyword!

If someone mentions kippers, your resposne should be "Chickens live happy".

    See you around!
  • Just signed up to green met! My mum has given me some pumpkin patch childrens clothes...some new with tags and most barely worn by my little sister!! Are they worth selling?

Definately worth selling as pumpkin patch is a good make. I also won £15 on bingo britain yesterday and withdrew it straight away. My balance went to zero but when I have logged on today my balance is showing £20 which is the £15 win plus the £5 bonus money. Any idea why it is still showing in my account. I have looked at the transaction report and looks like it has gone through.

Wanted to play bingo for today but have a feeling I would have to use my cash rather than the bonus money ?

    Thanks

    like that won't raise suspicions:rotfl::rotfl:

I suggest you just don't need to mention MSE on line - if you must then set up a thread where you can check in - even then I would be varying (and not publishing) your bingo names except by PM
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • I am an avid car booter fan although I don't go to any in the Winter (too cold and OH goes loopy if he hears me de-icing the car at 6 am on a Sunday :rotfl:

I use the following websites to find out when Car boots are on

    www.bootfairs.co.uk
    www.carbootjunction.com

    another one is www.silversurfers.net

Please check with the organisers before going as some of the info has to be updated for 2010.

Check with local papers too for jumble sales and notice boards in supermarkets etc.

    Good luck all

I want to start this on 1st Jan as I will have been babysitting on New Years Eve. The problem is that if the money just goes into my purse or my bank account I somehow don't notice it and it just gets spent on everyday stuff. Can anyone recommend an account that's good for these little bits and pieces, I'm due some expenses from work and am nearly up to £50 on yougov which will be cheques. I could do with something like an old fashioned post office book I used to have as a child! What do you use?

    DS

Have you considered your local credit union? I've found this account very useful for saving as it's not linked to any cash machines - so you tend to forget about the money in there. Plus if you ever need a loan you can generally borrow 3 times what you have saved at a much better interest rate than banks etc.
2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher

Min withdrawal is £20 so you'll have to deposit £5 and withdraw £20 to be able to play your bonus money without losing the cash balance.

I've been signing up for that much opinion poll stuff on-line & entering their comps. I just got in & the phone went - a guy from USA reckoning I've won a holiday to Florida, but needs my details. I told him to phone back in about an hour as I have animal stuff to run around and do - which I do.
Is this a con do you think? The guy started talking about - you do have a VIsa Electron card - now I never divulged that on-line. I think they'll be after money off me, he said it was in connection with Hilton Hotels - does anyone know if this will be a scam or not?
Thanks beforehand - off to feed & water sheep now.
