Hi - Downshifter. I have a ISA account with the Halifax - not sure if it's good interest compared to others, but I have a book & no card, no chequebook with it, so difficult to make withdrawals for me as our nearest bank is 37 miles away!
You are limited with the amount you can deposit - think it's about £3000 a year, but, unfortunately that's not been a problem for me.

I have just set myself up a small spreadsheet so I know what I have spent, what I can spend (according to my £100 start balance) and what my profit is for my totals, and also which bits are taxable (ie items bought to sell, but as gambling wins aren't I wont need to include that in my return.) hopefully making it easier for me.
I just have to remember to fill it in all the time.

I put two unwanted xmas pressies on ebay last night on BIN and they have both sold. :j:j Not massive amounts, but it all adds up.
  • Bingo Britain - when you pre-buy the tickets, do you have to participate in the games, as in physically mark off your numbers, or is it just done automatically? I am a bit confused. :o

Yes unless you have a nil cash balance, any games that you buy will be taken out of your cash balance first.
To get round this, buy all of your games up front using the pre-pay option. You can either watch them at the alloted time as they will appear 'live' on your screen or just log in later on and see if you have won by checking your cash balance

If you have not yet withdrawn today(ie in the last 24 hours), put in an extra £10 now and IMMEDIATELY to a withdrawal of £24 to get your money. You can then spend the rest of your bonus.

I have some ideas floating in my head. I was considering selling two items which i have in my house, havent looked for stuff to sell but the two items are a ifel tower keyring and Blue rush aftershave. Would it be better to put it as buy it now or as an auction?
