I also have an Ebay shop and have had it for a few years now. There is nothing in it at the moment because I have got the hiliday settings on as it is too near Christmas to post anything out now.
It costs £14.99 a month for a basic shop and then you get reduced fees per item. It works well for me as I sell all sorts of things that I have around the house, found in Charity shops, jumble sales, car boots, table top sales etc. I put items up for auction first and then if they don't sell then it goes into the shop. Sometimes things don't sell and you move them into the shop and they go the same day.
What you don't get is any free listing days, so bear that in mind if you are gong to sell only a few things.
I am registered as a business and do pay tax, I also have a part-time job too, but do both to pay the bills. It takes hard work but if you are prepared to put the hours in then it does pay off. But make sure you and others you live with are happy having boxes of stuff and packaging materials about the house!
Have a look on ebay under selling and they have a section under shops. There is lots of info there, also I can recommend the forums on ebay, there are ones for business users & shops.
Go for it!
Ta for that trying hard...... I don;t want to do anything too rash so I guess I have a lot of research to do on that.
CTC - another link I find you on!! I;m not following you honest!!! I'm off to T&M, Suttons etc to place some orders.... Must remember broad beans, can't stand them myself but if it helps the pennies roll in....:D
I'm getting nervous about the items I listed on ebay today, not received them yet but as I ordered from HMV I;m not worried about them not turning up, they are usually rather quick! Did I do the right thing?? Have I just bought somethings that I can;t sell/ not make a profit. Just doubting myself a bit I guess......
Thats all for now...

We were thinking about selling ours as DD has only used it twice! We asked at Game & Game Station and they both said they would give us the grand total of ............. £65 trade in
Put it on eBay, it's probably your best bet. Seen as your DD has only used it twice, you might as well:A.manic_saver wrote: »A tip before i go, just sold 4 O2 sim cards the other week for around a fiver each so thats £20 for signing up to free sims them selling them on ebay.

I've had LOADS of private messages so please bear with me - I have a newborn and although it may look like I am online, more often than not I am signed in with the hope of having time to respond but in reality elbow deep in poo and vomit. Too Much Information? :rotfl:
The only thing that strikes me so far is the number of people PMing me but apologising first... I offered so please dont feel you need to apologise - I am happy to help, or try to help ! If I can provide info that helps just one person, my 2009 can end happily :T
Well done to the growing list of challengees ( is that a word)
I hope I make the challenge, but moreover I hope we all do, and I hope to make some new friends along the way.
Here's to spending the next 374 days together !

Count me in please: Bambywamby :j
I already have my £100.
£60 in Paypal account and £40 in an old bank account.
I shall include overtime, mystery shopping, Ebay, sales on Amazon, car boots, money given as gifts (birthdays etc), winnings via free gambling trials, Quidco, online surveys, money saved that would normally be spent. (eg getting a free meal at work instead of taking a homemade sandwich would save me about 45p or walking home from work rather than getting the bus saves me £1.75)...not much but it all adds to the kitty.
Look forward to making lots of money with you all. x x
And thank you for setting the challenge up Bing0 x x x
