Absolutely amazing advice Eyesparky. In fact i find quite a few of your posts motivational and useful.
Thanks for this (lol even though it was in no way aimed at me, i'm still taking it and using it and learning from it!)
Thanks Turia ... help yourself, that's why it is on the thread so that anyone mad enough to get involved with this challenge can take what they need.

ooohh...... pillowcase dresses for little girls....
off to find a link... back in a mo
http://freshlypicked.blogspot.com/2008/03/pillow-case-dress-tutorial.html
this is one I found but there are loads others.... they go for quite good money on Etsy depending on the pattern.
I;ve been looking for decent pillow cases to do this myself. I AM jealous!
Thanks Mambury!! I've never heard of this before. I've been asking my dear old gran (76 - a seamstress/dressmaker for at least 50 years!) to teach me to sew so this might be a good start, looks quite easy, quick and I reckon pillow cases are not too hard to find without spending too much. :T'It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection' Elizabeth Gilbert.

I think the thread will become unmanageable with small talk.
Perhaps the bingo chat should be posted on The gambling board and the ebaying chat kept to the ebay board. Keeping this board more for the original ideas, weekly update, monthly progress.
sorry to see that you're leaving the board cause of the amount of the posts, But i for one wouldnt be able to check 3 or 4 different posts!! and everyone will end up posting all over the place so will get messy... I think we're doing ok tbh - 250 odd people in the challenge and only perhaps 3 or 4 have complained so far about the thread.. So in my eyes, overall the majority are happy so as my uncle would say - if it ain't broke don't fix it.
its only the seventh of January... "7" days into our official challenge, understandably people are excited, on a buzz, eager and motivated... this will naturally dwindle a bit throughout the year but for now lets try and not knock a good thing£2022 in 2022 - £1042/£2022

If Bingo restarts it intermittently (maybe with an early, up datable post with key info
) will the old threads stay accessible, because I have found myself nipping back a few times to check out something?
You can add a link to the original thread to the opening post to explain to newbies, and a board guide should be asked to close it to avoid confusion. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. Maybe a weekly thread would be an idea ?0

All good then.

For those concerned with the size and complexity of the thread, if there is a specific subject that you want to discuss but feel it is getting lost in the flow of the thread, start up a thread to discuss it. Fruitloops started one to discuss ideas around selling to students (check it out
) and is getting a response there specific to their needs. Seems to work well and offer the best of both worlds, with the added bonus that there are responses there from people not in this challenge but with good ideas to help the discussion along.

Must admit I'd prefer the talk of gambling and bingo to be on a seperate thread. I've had problems in that area and it is hard to keep reading about people's wins without wanting to sign up myself! Also from experience I know how easy it is to lose a lot of money that way - I don't like to think we could be encouraging someone to start a very bad habit.[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000
