regarding the bingo britain bonus rules: you don't need to spend all of the real money to qualify for the £5 a day bonus, but you do have to play at least one real money game.
for example, I deposited £10 yesterday and the 100% bonus (£10) was added, I played a few blackjack hands, won a couple/lost a couple, then signed out with my real money total still at £10 + the untouched £10 bonus.....today signed back in, the £5 daily bonus has been added so now I have £15 in bonus, played a little more blackjack again, lost a little then won a few, total now £14.50 in real money and £15 bonus. So as long as I play at least one real money game a day the bonus £5 will continue to be added.
My plan is to take it easy and only play a couple of games whilst the bonus builds up and then when the 30 days of bonuses is over or all the real money is lost (whichever happens first) try to win as much as possible using the bonus money.
In theory I've now got 14 real money £1 blackjack games which, if I only play one a day and lose everyday I'll still have a minimum of 14 x £5 = £70 + existing £15 bonus and tomorrows £5 bonus (for playing today) = £90 bonus money to wager.
So for those who have real money stuck in bingo britain, just try playing 1 game daily to build up the bonus, then hopefully you'll be able to win enough to make a decent withdrawal.Turn £100 into £10,000 in 2010 member # 247

well, i'm not doing very well at all.
i have listed ALOT of things on ebay and amazon and so far have only made £4.21. i do have a bid on a selection of knitting wool that will get me at least 4.50. but apart from that nada.
whatever wasnt fetching good money on either of those two sites i have packed in boxes for a carboot sale so hopefully that will be a few more pennies in the pot.
we have raided all the little coin stashes in our house and bundled it all together to bank. haven counted it yet as we have no coin bags but i reckon it's between £20 and £30. going to sell my nintendo ds that OH got me last year for xmas and the 2 games for it as i havent used it since last january so maybe another couple of pounds there but apart from that its quite slow here.
think i'll have a look at the link for daily scratches and suchlike."it's better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick" - my dad, regularly throughout my childhood when I complained about something being too small/not perfect/not tasty/not what I wanted. he was right every time.0 -
God i have just had to read from page 78 all the way up to 102
I am down to my last ebay listing at the mo, Got a few more items to stick on soon as I get some free time. I have also joined some bingo sites like wink bingo and paddy bingo. No luck so far at all on the bingo front. Thinking of joining dooyoo but the home pages looks really demanding not to sure where to start apart from creating a account lol.
There is a lot of people here starting of really well, and others that have planed thoroughly in their investments Good look to all and keep up the hard work, Its not even past the first week yet and there has been a lot of optimistic comments on here also. Also for all those not starting with any money or have started of slowly, please be patient you time will come and you will be smiling and posting how much you have clocked up on here for all us to read..

Now, what can I encourage you with?
Urgh- everything at the moment! Seem to have spent all day on the Internet and gone round in circles-have bought 2 lots that haven't turned up yet coz of the snow and am looking for another lot but dunno what! Reckon everyone on this thread has bought all the good wholesale lots!
Whinge over- will have another search tomorrow :-)0 -
Hi there
thankyou for the link, please remember there are no rules to this thread at all.Even if you manage to buy a 'Ladybird' book from a jumble sale for 5p
(and trust me,they can sell for big money if you get a rare one) and off that 5p you turn it into a £1.00,then the £1.00 you turn into £3.00 and so on......by this time next year, you still could have £100's !
It's not the starting or finishing amounts that matter too much, what this thread will provide is positive ideas, thoughts, support and anything else you want it to ! Whether you buy from jumble sales for pennies or at prestigious auctions for £10000's does not matter and that goes for anyone interested to !
Just the fact that you want to do better for your financies is a great start, remember there are lots of places you can get items for free.....
Ask family members
.search through your drawers,cupboards,garages
.sell clothes you do not use or need
.wait for the end of carboot sales where sellers throw away unwanted items....
.do a local leaflet drop asking for any unwanted items
When you are ready to do it,you'll have the tools in place 'to do it'
Never say you can't,just keep on trying, remember this is for yourselves, you are the one in charge of when and when not you do anything.
Maybe you need something to strive for:
get out of debt,be able to afford a better holiday, pay for a school trip, give up work and work for yourself ?
Whatever the reason, keep focused, and one thing is for sure,if you do not try,it will not happen !
I have suggested this time period as till the end of 2010,if you have a shorter or longer target then that's fine, but dont keep dwelling, actually do something,as time never stops-so do not waste it,it's very precious !
I just wanted to say that this is such an inspirational post and i found it just a s my confidence and enthusiasm was dipping. i really do have this thread to thank for getting me to do this and all the helpful posters for supporting each other and sharing advice. it really does make a difference.
i hope we all meet our targets at the end of this year or maybe even sooner and if we dont it definitely wont be for lack of support here."it's better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick" - my dad, regularly throughout my childhood when I complained about something being too small/not perfect/not tasty/not what I wanted. he was right every time.0 -
sorry, i should have put that in quotation marks. it's not my post, it's bing0's"it's better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick" - my dad, regularly throughout my childhood when I complained about something being too small/not perfect/not tasty/not what I wanted. he was right every time.0

Well the benefits of decluttering never cease to amaze ... managed to find €70 in a holiday bag I haven't used for ages
. Anyone know the cheapest place to exchange them to sterling so I can throw them to work in the challenge? I also found 10 Deutsche marks ... not really any use anymore unfortunately. All in a day's fun. Well done everyone for all your efforts. Really impressed how well everyone is doing.
Edit: Make that €76.50 including slummy ... can you exchange loose change Euro?"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0 -
Thank you everybody for loads of ideas that are whizzing around!
I sadly have just been looking at my calendar and the car boot nearest me starts in ......... 8 weeks :rotfl:
I think that's when I will find a lot of my items to make money on
This just some of what I look out for- perfume/body lotion sets - sometimes best to split & sell separately
- Avon perfume - some of these go on Ebay for £5-7 and you can pick these up for 50p
- Childrens reading books - ladybird etc
- Childrens Dressing up clothes especially Disney, even the shoes and tiaras are good sellers separately
- Lego - always a good seller
- Slimming mags, books, dvd's etc - squirrel these away and bring them out in Jan
You are all doing great and it is only day 6 :j
