Well, I havent managed to get past the 'thinking about it' phase ! But yes, you use one company for the bet, and another for the lay bet.
I have to say all the information is in the gamling loophole forum - it is set out as simply as possible for such a complicated thing ! There is a great sticky post which explains it all. But for me, something in my brain cant quite process it ! I understand the concept, but when it comes to trying some pretend practice bets, my brain switches off !
I have procrastinated for most of 2009, so I am hoping 2010 will be my matched betting year !VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

It depends on the council. I work for about an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon and get paid £89.00 a week for three weeks and for the fourth week I get paid £137.00 as the council pays travel expenses, every fourth week.
So the total for the year is £5252, but the council takes off a small retainer each month so that I get paid equally throughout the school year and holidays, so it works out at £4,800.00. It's a final salary pension scheme too.
Because I have enhanced disclosure I do some work for the school too, like supervising kids on trips, but in reality I don't have to do that and I don't ask to be paid for it.
Your local council will be able to give you details, if you ask for the School Crossing Patrol Manager.
I work at my son's school and it's a really nice wee job.
wow approx £92 for 10 hours work  thats amazing and all the school hols off, might have to look into this myself lol well done on getting it at your kids school, bonus!!
Have been looking at doing ebay again as I used to do it selling reward charts/stickers and car signs etc but it was taking up a lot of time.
Have looked at maybe doing choc lollys (ie teddies/hearts etc) but was wondering where you stand on selling food?MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

My sister bought wholesale and ended up having boxes of things around the house!
I did watch a program about how the internet made people lots of money and this lady makes a fortune buying in bulk from china/japan and selling on ebay. She had a bedroom full of stuff and then took over the garage as well! The prog eventually got her to see about renting warehouse space and developing it all furtherMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Hello everyone, there are some great comments you guys have left to help fellow members, thanks very much.I've had a slogg on Ebay today, but still cleared £95.00 on the day,so I'm happy at that.Only ended up listing a few items as I had commitments elsewhere.Tomorrow I'm aiming to list 20 items for 5 days, finishing on Boxing Day.
I must say this is turning out to be a great thread,so once again thankyou all for supporting it.On behalf of members 1-52 hello to our newbies.....:T
You have a good week or two to get your plans into action, then like most of us,you'll be ready and set for the New Year.
Just guessing but I assume exercise equipment sells very well at the start of the year ? Food for thought
till tomorrow :hello:"Do not let what you can't do interfere with what you can do."0 -
Hi Bing0.
Well i have spent £19 of my money buying 8 double duvet cover sets in quite modern patterns. hoping to do well with them on ebay in the newyear when everones mind turns to DIY and decorating to freshen up house for spring. Not a huge fortune I know but maybe ok.
ANyone looked into dropshipping? I did breifly but felt there was no real profit in it but if anyone feels diffrently I would be interested in hearing their thoughts. Via PM if they would rather not post on the board is fine.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
oooh yes, exercise equiment, slimming stuff, giving up smoking dvds or the gum stuff....
Great thinking bing0 !
Random ideas :
Partyplanning - avon/phoenix/body shop/betterware etc.. There are some fabulous threads on here, each party plan has a dedicated thread with tips, hints, dos and donts etc...
Car boots and markets - someone on here said councils sometimes give pitches for free, or a reduced rate in order to get the markets thriving again
Ebay/Amazon/Play.com/ lots like this
Ironing, babysitting, childminding, book keeping, gardening, cleaning cars, cleaning windows and guttering, courier work ( local or national) etc...
Setting up your own business - health therapies, accounting, childrens parties, floristy, wedding planning etc..
Work from home doing phone operator work, review sites, daily clicks etc..
Temping
Twilight/night shift work
Selling your own e book
Any more ideas to add to the pot ? There is absolutely LOADS of info on MSE about all possible avenues of work and upping income, so if you are new, or tend to stick to one forum, then have a good look through and have a read.
Also, it may sound obvious, but dont pay for information on the web - lots of scams and rip off merchants. Try searching the company concerned first on here and if people have been scammed there will be some stories on here. First one that springs to mind is envelope stuffing - people still fall for this scam ( I did 10 yrs ago I will admit !). If in doubt, post details of what information or opportunity you are thinking of buying or signing up to on MSE and people can advise you.VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID
