How does the alu drinks can work Cooltriker?
Thanks.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

you take them to your local scrap metal dealer.....ok the price does go up and down depending on the demand, ok you dont get loads of money only a few squid, but its better than nothing...
i normally cash in our cans maybe once or twice a year, and get anything from £5 - £10 per time...... as i say not loads of money, but it is better than nothing...

I think I would like to join this challenge as well.
I will start by selling some of my own unwanted items and take it from there. My partner and I are hoping to get married next year so would like to raise £2000 for it which is a realistic target I think.
I will also be doing the following:
Lightspeed surveys
Pine cone research surveys
Dooyoo

I will be watching this thread in earnest as I am trying to OP on my mortgage as much as I can.
Dont think I can do the challenge (probably only a quarter of it) so will just watch from the sidelines and get lots of tips

will think about this - my feeling is the spirit is buy and sell leveraging the initial £100 - not quite sure I can manage that but will definitley be looking at alternate income sources that a bit of inspiration and perspiration can bring my way
good luck everyone - like others will start on 1 Jan (maybe 2nd Jan!!). By my calculations only need to double up every 6 weeks to reach £10K by the ned of the year
I like the suggestions about running a different bank account. I think I will do that - except for paypal, and then I will just transfer stuff from my main accountI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

I noticed that Tesco will give you 1 club card point for every 2 cans recycled and a further point for every bag reused in the shop.
Not a lot but they all add up. I've managed to cover most of our entertainment and holidays this year from buying things with decent Tesco points on them and then re-selling them immediately on e-bay and converting the points to deals.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. we sadly:o havent got one of those machines, as if they did it would be even better, if they did get htem in a tesco near us then i would do that,
oooo by the way if you use one of their cardboard boxes to carry your groceries they give you 3 green points;). i used to be a avid point collector, but i have gone off the boil, so to speak:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -
