Has anyone else felt dissapointed with the stuff they've bought to sell on? Feeling fed up as just took delivery of my sports direct order they had clone wars trainers pictured on website but title was misc charecter trainers, figured i might get a couple of other boys ones instead ben 10 maybe. I ended up with all girls camp rock ones and 2 were shoes! Not even worth selling on so now have to mess about trying to return them. The returns label says i have to pay return postage on 8 pairs! not cheap:(

see if you can use a courier service cheaper than royal mail as their charges will really sting. or if you have 14 days to return put on ebay for 7 day listing at BIN just covering your costs is not a loss, a disappointment yes but at least you wont be out of pocket, if they dont sell then return

I am getting a bit confused, but trying to work out which one is the best. I think my options are Ebay, Play.com or Amazon?
Ebay seems to be 10% plus listing fee.
Play - free for Jan, but thereafter 10% plus an extra 5% withdrawal fee.
Amazon - can't get my head round this. It says:
"If you are looking to sell only a few products or expect to have less than 40 orders a month, click here to sign up as an Individual seller with Amazon which has no monthly fee but instead a per product sold fee of £0.86. "
On top of this 86p do you pay the 17.5% referral fee as well?
    Help please

We would have to take unpaid or make hours up if we can't go in because of snow too.

Kitten that was a lovely thing to do, well done

Thanks, guess win some loose some. Have emailed them though see if i can do anything about getting it picked up as i do feel the site was a little misleading i was expecting at least boys trainers. Would rather cut my losses and get refunded as i don't think camp rock is 'in' with the kids anymore. If anyone had actually bought them for their kids i'm sure a boy wouldn't of been happy with pink trainers!

Completed listing show them as not even selling anyway sure i'll get over it just a bit annoyed not sure if it's at myself or sports direct to be honest.

Dunno what you were planning on selling the trainers for but on ebay there have been sales of Camp Rock Trainers for between 4.99 - 8.45 within the last week and a bit so still might be worth it?

thanks for looking i paid £5 each for them though and after fees postage ect i'd be lucky to make my money back. The clone wars sells well £13 a pair shame i didn't get even 1 pair.

thats another tenner in the skintbint to richbint pot! just finished an hours cleaning and she asked if i did ironing too, as if i'd say no!! my ironing can lie in a heap another day while i do hers. better phone the Inland Revenue tomorrow and let them know i'm doing that - dont want a fine. quick question though - i work full time so will pay tax at 20% can i then deduct my petrol costs off the £10 i.e £10 - 1.60(4 miles @40p) = 8.40 means tax of £1.68? am i working this out correctly?

can't you deduct a small amount for electricity too? I thought you could, better check the website though.

yer it does get confussing but i stick with ebay purely for the amount of visitors they get each month, the more the better, i think people going on play and amazon are buying new stock (its not a fact im just assuming)
