  • Ok, only went away for 4 days and have managed to miss over 40 pages! Caught up now. Just logged into my EBay account to start listing, oh wonder of wonders, I actually have one of the tresured Kevin and Perry CD's! That was going to be the first to go, BUT I am not allowed to list anything as my Paypal account has been limited.
Log in to Paypal nd its because I have hit the limit. However, they are sying that I need to submit reciepts to prove that I own everything. Problem is, it was only crap that I was selling, eg a raincover for a buggy that my DD outgrew over a year ago, only sold it for £2 but they want a reciept to prve I owned it in the first place, obviously don't have it anymore.
How can I resolve this? any ideas? Worried now as I have £127 in the account that I can't access and was really relying on selling on EBay to make the money.

Apologies for spelling DD pulled the A key of the keyboard and it now only works when it feels like it!

I flippin' hate paypal at the moment. My account has been limited since September because they wouldn't authorise a payment with my credit card, I tried to add a new credit card and my account got flagged for fraud!
It could have been relatively simple to sort out except I was in the USA at the time and only arrived home in December. I've sent numerous documents and faxes but it's still limited. I've rung 3 times and got disconnected each time.
I'm actually currently on the phone to them now, waiting in a 15 minute queue....I've got £300 sitting in that account, much needed money so I need to sort it, if I can only get through to them :mad::mad:

Apologies - this is just a rant, I can't really offer any advice on your problem, it basically seems that whatever Paypal wants to do, they do and there's not much you can do about it :< It seems OTT for them to be asking you for receipts for a £127 balance

Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
  • Don't get me started, just got off the phone to them, they are saying I need to fax reciepts tracking numbers (proof of posting not good enough), which I don't have and bank staements and utility bills. EBay won't let me list until I have resolved Paypal account.
Bloody unfair monopoly is what they have! Would use EBid if they had any buyers, ok to list things on there but don't seem to have to make buyers. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Sold a comic and a book on Amazon = £10.
Found £7.21 in an account I hardly use so going to use that to register with Bingo Britain.
Done four reviews on Dooyoo, yay!
Have been waiting to list the one thing I've got for Ebay so far but think I'll just list it today and get it done with. Baby steps too :)

Im gonna start listing all my Usborne books on Play.com...looks like its cheaper than Amazon!

Also my mum has got loads of my old books in her wardrobe...when i was about 10 i won my height in books! I read most of them once then they got boxed up so im hoping she will let me get them out n bring them home so i can list those too!

I got a Blackberry Storm and an LG Viewty that i can get around £100 for the 2 on phone buyer websites but they are both out of battery. Will this be a problem, do they need to be charged or will they charge them to check them?
