Think I will keep a completely separate record but will use 50% of each profit for living expenses and reinvest 50 %.
Just sold my second amazon book! Their fees are pretty high but at least they are selling.
Listed 2 more today so back to 26.
Dh going to find some for me to list as well.
Spent £52 on bits and bobs to sell - but probably later in year.
Does anyone know what the fees are like on play.com?
Also spotted they refund fees on five listings at the moment if that helps anyone“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Just checked out Play.com fee info
They charge 10% of sale price + 50p
Or you can get a Pro Trader account which costs £19.99 a month and you dont have to pay the 50p per itemSlimming World Member - Started 05/02/150 -
Woo! Am dead chuffed now! My first Ebay item of the year has sold, and after fees made a profit of £11.25 - woop woop! Am dead pleased as was my first dabble with buying to re-sell. Also managed to make 2 pairs of earrings (kinda bridal themed) for my nice new boxes! If i can make 2 x night after work I should have a nice collection to show as samples/ sell
Not sure on pricing them though?
i was putting any money I won onto my C/card but its true- that does get swallowed, so will just put any profits made into a seperate saving account- maybe my Isa to start
Hope everyone else has had a productive day,

I have at last found a field I know something about......bet it goes for a lot more than £75 though as it has a few days to run.....:o Still it's all one big learning curve right? Listed 2 items on Ebay too. Thanks to the poster letting us know media is free listing to £4.99, hoping this will save me some cash. :jThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. rachelja - Gala windicates is like a syndicate thing they do. You join people's and have people join yours and when they win a windicate game, everyone in their windicate gets 50p. I spend the 50p's on the Wheel of Fortune Triple Action game, most of the time I lose but I have won £7, £6 and now £5-24 this morning which I've withdrawn with no problems (and I dont think I've ever deposited on there either)
fruitloops - many of us are starting at zero or with less than £100
kemo2002 - correct by the looks out it
creaker - i'm determined to keep it seperate but things rather tight at the moment so its got absorbed with a mental (read word doc on laptop) note of what needs to be banked at a later stage
ME ... got 28 book auctions finishing tonight with only one watcher on two items, never mind0
