Hi
Lots of people are starting by selling their own stuff from around the house on ebay or amazon and then re-investing the profits.
Or you could buy a couple of things from a 99p or £1 shop and sell those to get started.

Now, I know we´re not all going to turn into Richard Branson by the end of 2010, but this might provide some inspiration. No 2 in the list says ya boo to our friend of little faith ...

I've spent £42ish on 10 items which hopefully should sell for about £100, a bit scary isn't it the first timeMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Oh my gosh...i have been going through bags of stuff i have at the bottom of my wardrobe...found a purse with £33.05 of pound coins n other change so adding that to my total as it would have been sitting their for god knows how long otherwise!!
Also MORE stuff to list on ebay...have a bag for bootsaleing too as its stuff that i reckon will sell for a pound or two so isnt worth me putting on ebay but will still get me profit.
THANKYOU for starting this thread and to everyone who has contributed so far! You have all really helped me get my butt into gear and unlock all this money from my 'junk'!Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150 -
If nothing else, this challenge is a huge inspiration to declutter ... I have built a significant pile of things to list on ebay (I think I will need to learn how to use Turbo Lister or I could be at it for a very long time
) and have listed about £300 of books on Amazon whilst filling a wheelie bin along the way. Things I have been meaning to get around to but in all honesty would likely have been still undone 6 months from now without this thread for impetus. Hopefully, over the next few weeks this should turn into a reasonable stake to get going with.

Good evening everybody, First day back at work is over and it's cold outside all day. I have just registered with dooyoo so any advice for a novice would be much appreciated.A few bids on my ebay items, definately think the key is to get so many items listed as possible. Juggling the day job, the challenge and my sports will be tough but i'm happy when i'm busy.
Good luck0
