For all those who are interested in using the Matched Betting as a way to increase their profits I run a website with mailing list and MSN contact to help you through your first bets.

I wont put the web address here as I'm sure there is some advertising clause in the forum rules I would break, but if you would like to be added to the mailing list or my MSN please just PM me for details and I'll talk you through your first bets personally

I learnt to Match bet in Jan last year and profit for that year was £3,086, a huge chuck towards your £10K target.

For everyone who is not going to use matched betting, I wish you all the best of luck and I will be following this thread with great interest.

hi tommy if they are cheap enough and they are of a decent quality i would say go or it, remember quite often its the quality that clinches the deal.

cleaning job went well and paid today so i'm away to update my signature (smugbint?). have 16 items ending on ebay today but only a couple of bids at a £ so far, did have a biddr at £4 but they retracted their bid and are no longer a registered user - bummer!

hope everybody has a fruitful day one way or another

I have to say these past two days I have been going Dooyoo mad!! I do like doing the reveiws of products, books and films. However it does not say on the site how much the points are worth in both Amazon Vouchers and cash. Does anyone know? It just says how many you need to get before you can redeem them but doesn't say amounts you can redeem for!

    Thanks all

lauraj87, £100 would be cheap for the lot. What u think?

Yeah I think it's a great buy, even if you sold each tree for £10 which is easily do able you'll make a tidy return!

    Hi

I would go for it tommymcn

You could get £10 each for the trees = £400 and 50p/£1 per roll of wrapping paper which would bring in around £90 to £180. So for a layout of £100 you could potentially get nearly £500/£600 back.

Good Luck in whatever you decide.

    :T:THello everyone,
welcome to all new members, well done for joining this smallish gathering....

Today I'm decluttering and finding lots of sellable items.I'll be listing later and tomorrow.I will start actively buying again once I've got rid of everything in my garage.I've said on previous posts that buying for the sake is a money waster ,a space waster, time waster...need I say more.

I do not buy items myself in advance of future seasons,no real reason other than utilising money in different ways. But great idea for those who do.

Keep focused, keep your chin up if you have a quiet week,it goes in peaks and troughs. It would be interesting to hear any mega sales anyone has.One I had last year was a book I purchased off a general dealer on a carboot for £10.00 and sold for £600.00.This was with a detatched cover too !

Never say never, having that attitude will hinder you.I know next week I will find something superb, don't know what, but I'll find it!

For those of you who do not get support at home with this(remember it's always availabe here),do not focus on this negativity, transfer that energy into listing items, prove to yourself you will do it.Try not to get wound by by people not interested, this time next year you'll see it was all woth it.

    Back later .......:T:T:T

Well I have been to some local cheap shops today and bought some bits and pieces, have listed 2 dvds on amazon that I bought for £1 and should hopefully sell for £3-£4.

The other stuff will go on ebay but need to find my digital camera to take photos! and am collecting old books etc from around the house for the boot sale that I am doing at the end of Jan.
