I'd like to join please .... it's a bit daunting but when dd's are napping i can have a good look around the site for ideas.

I will start by actualy charging people for the celebration cakes that i make them (and not say 'just pay for the ingredients'), and actually charge more than £60 for a 3 tier cake

I don't have £100 to start off with so am starting from £0, I have a garage full of what dh calls 'toot', bags of baby clothes from 2 girls, and toys coming out of the walls. As we are looking to move into a smaller house with cheapoer rent in July I have to declutter, and will need to save all the moving costs.

I will aim for the £10k but if i don't do it this year ... there's always next year

    Hi everyone

    Firstl Happy New Year!

I did have £200 but I have had to put that towards a bill so I am starting from £0 and going to go through the house with a fine tooth comb. I am in the process of moving so this will be great for me.

I have come across a bottle of vintage next perfume which has been in the draw for about 14 years. will it be worth anything do you think?

Heres to a healthy and wealthy 2010

I will probaly start selling my comics, see how it goes and some keyrings. Just ebay and payal do tend to eat into the profits.

Agreed. But it's the easiest & safest way to sell online :)

  • Might sound like a daft idea but if you booked village hall/community centre for around 4 hours (our local one charges £10 p.h). Put advert in local free paper advertising table top sale, put posters up EVERYWHERE, sell tables for £5 each, you only need 8 people and you get to sell your own stuff for free.
Warmer (and drier) than a car boot, they let you put up posters advertising event, Whats on section of papers list for free, if it's a large hall you can even make money by selling more tables, you may not make a fortune but every bit helps.

This year i WILL have savings!
