Happy New Year everyone. Last night we set a date for our wedding 11/12/10, so I have to work double hard now to achieve this as well as achieve other targets I wanted to this year with the money earned.

Still in PJ's with a slight headache this morning, but have requested £10 to my bank acc already and every little helps.

sceptical???? Thats not the half of it!! Personally I would rub his face in it when you reach your target! A bit of 'nananana, I told you so' wouldn't go a miss!

:jok folks "here tae us, wha's like us?, fell few and their a deid" happy new year:beer:

worked out need to do £27.40 a day and this time year will have £10,001. heres my breakdown
    # extra hours at work
(~this year only for this challenge) £1920
    temp cleaning job 320
    ebay challenge 2400
    total £4640

will also have my cakes but have no idea of revenue that will bring, Quidco throughout the year especially at Car insurance time, if i get clubcard points i'll put the same away in cash.
I have an old bank account - pass book only so i cant access any money easily so everything will be squirreled away in there so i can sit and look smug thinking normally nothing in there. O/h not very happy at me taking cleaniing job but he's no O/T at the moment so he can see to the kids, will keep the pasbook in my locker at work as he thinks i'm mad and that i will never do it!!!!!!! think that spurs me on just as much as clearing our feet! anybody else got a sceptical partner they would like to slap sometimes?

edit: forgot put more money into account that i recieved for christmas and a cheque for £8 that i got for ebay sales, now got £183 squirreled

What is he like knocking the cleaning job. I got a wee cleaning job, when times were especially tough, much to the amusement of a few people, but got to know the manager of the company and got a nice P/T Accounts Job out of it, which i'm still doing.

I know people who clean houses for £10.00 an hour, that have branched into house sitting, pet watching, waiting for parcels, making meals etc for their clients, all at the same rate. If you're a good, honest worker it's a good chance to get seen.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Scrooge: think he thinks our days of struggling are over (~not) and as i now work full time i shouldnt need to do cleaning. i'd rather clean for £10 an hour than stand behind a bar getting £5.80 an hour (nothing wrong with that done it before) and still have to clean toilets where there have been drunks pee-ing everywhere

  • I've been quite ill the last few days so have fallen behind a little bit. Still a lot more to list.. :(

Has anyone ever sold beanie babies? I've seen they don't sell well on ebay, but i'm not really bothered about how much they make as just need to get rid of them but wondered if anyone else had any sucess on anywhere else as ebay seems to be very hit & miss with beanie babies? (Have about 50+)

    Thanks in advance *agaainnn*

I'm member no 200? That sounds like a good sign ... thanks for the encouragement everyone!
