theres only 4 of us, me, OH, mum and dad so its usually bacon sandwiches (just bacon for me as Im allergic to wheat) and then lashings of tea. Bucksfizz is always on offer but due to christmas eve induced hangovers never get touched

  • When I lived at home, I use to make scrambled eggs with lashings of cream!

When my other half adn I moved in together we would have pancakes and croissants for breaksfast.

This year we're spending Christmas at my parents, so we're going to be having a feast!

  • I'm making christmas morning muffins this year using a Nigella Lawson recipe. Going to make them on christmas eve so will just have to warm them in the morning.

Xmas dinner's at 5pm this year, when DD and SIL come over, so breakfast has to be substantial! Bucks fizz with a fry up before I take the dogs for their morning walkies,, then nibbles during the day and some whisky (:D) while I cook the dinner :T

If I have the energy and inclination.

Slice of smoked salmon on wholemeal bread topped with poached eggs and home made hollandaise sauce.

But could be just two boiled eggs mashed with mayo if I am too rushed.

We are heading to Norway for Xmas and living in a very cosy log cabin, can't wait.... We will probably have something very light for breakfast Norwegian potato pancake to make plenty of room for Xmas dinner Norwegian style... We will go sledging later in the afternoon, very drunk.... it's great fun.
