Comet rang me today after i emailed Phil (see last page). I will be sent a cheque for £40 as a gesture of goodwill/ by way of apology. i'm happy with this as i was more annoyed by poor after care from call centre than by the tear in my lino!0

Just an update to say i received a cheque from comet by way of apology for poor customer service in mid January. The cheque was for £43.90 (!). Totally random figure but I'm pleased they acknowledged my complaint in the end. thanks for helping me out Phil.0
