Oh Hester, I know it's not really funny at all but I couldn't help laughing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It was about time someone told 'em!

Sorry not done a proper post today, a bit knackered after going to a bookshop (no, I didn't buy anything, not even a cook book :p I really wanted a nice Christmas card, a special one for my niece, but although I found a card I really liked there wasn't an envelope to fit it )

Another good day for our Santa's Grotto, the schoolkids were really excited to see Santa!

I forgot to go to M&S after work, doh! Will go tomorrow.

I had quick snack of cheese and crackers when I got in at half4 as I was starving cos I only had a banana for lunch. I'm going to make a stirfry later. Think the decorations will go up tonight if I can be bothered!

Just put WM on as have a big pile of stuff to wash before I go on hols.

Have a good evening all

Evening everyone

late one from me and was missing yesterday. Was all behind with the cows tail yesterday morning and felt bleughhhhh when I got home from work. Therefore had loads to do before work today.

Not intending to do much tonight, just general clearing around, oh and searching for a spare basket to keep all my stuff that is strewn across the sofa in, is mostly either crochet, crochet pattnerns I have printed out or recipes I have printed out for inspiration, they don't go into my folder till I have tried them and decided we might like them again :rotfl:

Looking forward to the weekend so I can get on with stuff, what stuff I don't know, but just know there is a lot to do! The weekend after I will be baking all day Saturday as am doing a sort of early xmas buffet type thing on the Sunday. Last year I did early xmas with full dinner, sorta wish I was doing it again, roast is easier than fiddly buffet things but more are coming this year and we just do not have the table/chairs for everyone.

Better get on cos I fancy going to bed this side of midnight  ((hugs)) for those who need/would just like one xx

Evening all,

Something wrong with the radiator in dining room, where pc is so this is going to be short and sweet. Haven't been doing anything wonderful anyway but did get rid of all Christmas cards to-day, very proud of myself!

Made pancakes for OH and me this morning for breakfast and enjoyed them very much...OH cooked dinner which was steak with wedges and various roast veg, really nice. Will need hot tea to warm up after being cold.

Tired Mum...so sorry to hear about your friend's daughter....think that it is the horror of someone dying so young that gets to one.

Hester....good on you, they might all pull their socks up a bit now.

Csarina...nice house, couldn't resist a peek.

We had our budget yesterday and Social welfare rates have been reduced by around 4%, child benefit by €16, bringing it to €150 per child per month, public service pay has been reduced by an average of around 8% and umpteen other payments have been reduced....there is war going on as you can imagine....they didn't touch pensions so we don't change but it is going to be tough for some I know.

Hugs to all in need or want, welcome to newbies and good luck to those who are no further on in their Christmas preparations than I am

Ivyleaf, it was funny, the bursar had that 'rabbit in the headlights' look, the reception area is next to the Bursars office, the receptionist were in tears they laughed so much & I know I'm funny when I'm in a strop. I have decided, tomorrow I'm taking my collar & crop to work.
Hugs Hester

What a day.

proper work this morning then 1/2 day to take DS2 to physio and I decide to take advantage of the spare time around his appointment and do a few MS jobs......so here I am. 9 jobs later; 9 bl00dy reports later with blisters on my blisters and a slight deranged look about me.

I have a job on Sunday then thats me done for this year - I have too much other stuff that needs doing - and like a previous poster I know I have lots of stuff to do but I'm just not sure what it is yet....

Driving to work this morning and I got the biggest exciteabubble about santa coming:D

Every part of me aches and I am going to crawl into bed.
