definitely have a right to cancel, but they'll hold you to the term of the contract and are liable for any costs owed for the contract i believe.

No, you're wrong there. They've already issued my MAC. The point I'm trying to make is that Ace know they're in the wrong, Trading Standards know that Ace are in the wrong and all Ace's customers know they're in the wrong!

The terms you stated above are of no relavance in this situation as Ace no longer supply the service for which I signed up for; it's a completely different service!

They simply pulled the proverbial rug out from under their customers feet.

IF thats the t & c's you agreed to when agreeing to a connection to them then theres not a lot you can bang them to rights for.

Look mate, you're obviously not reading what I'm writing; I get the feeling you're only on this board to pick a fight. So maybe you should just sit back and wait until I post saying that Ace have refunded me, eh?

Until then I see little reason in my trying to get my point accross to you as it's obviously going wide of the mark.

I'm not picking a fight, not at all. I'm just seeing it from both sides of the fence & giving the sort of points they'll no doubt give when you try & contest the issue.

I mean i dont know what you was expecting? Everyone to be going 'vive la revolution' ?

Yes, the T&C can say they are able to change them from time to time, but in law if they do change them, they have to let you leave without penalty for 28 days from when the T&C changed.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)
