    Update - for some reason the network card in the pc stopped working when we tried to use the new modem. It had nothing to do with the cable. All the cables are the same just coloured to help installation for newcomers. Used my laptop to activate the modem.

    Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

    No difference,it's just what the supplier had in stock at the time of boxing up the modems for NTL/VM.

    that is true that is y it is recommended for faster broadband speeds :rolleyes:
