Amazing Deal on Orange

I have Been on the 3 network for over 2 years, basically because nobody could match the amount of minutes for the same price,

My contract ended 2months ago, so started on the hunt for a new phone, The Nokia N80 is what i wanted ,I did not want to stay with 3g,there cheap but you get what you pay for, over seas customer services, locked in 3g's online stuff you have to pay for, also 3 day turnover for faulty phones(24 hour with orange), not good if you rely on your phone.

I Had Been watching sky, and had a seen programe named, Dont get done get Dom and he haggled the heck of of sales men and got cracking deals,so i thought i would give it a go

I Rang orange and got the following for £40 a month

web exclusive plans - 500 Mins + 100 Text

Plus they gave me Extra, every month

200 free extra talk minutes xnet every month
3G Try Data
FOC Text Extra 1000 every month
Video Calling Promotion 30mins every month
Web 250 xnet mins for life promo
Thats 950 mins xnet every month
1100 texts every months

And the added bounus :T they chucked in free broadband in for free, a saving of 22.99 a month.
I Rang them, after i receved my phone and ask about inclusive picture messages and the man on the end of the phone said that they have given me the the best deal they could, so i thought Ok done well hear, but to my surprise got a phone call 10mins later saying he had looked at my account and he would give me 30 picture messages for the first month.

I Could Not of had a better deal, or that level of customers service even if i asked for it , and no i dont work for orange ( ps any body want to buy a phone...LOL....)

The Moral is, It pay's to haggle, a saving of over £240 this year, To add to the money saved by visting this site,i will be buying that penthouse suit in monaco next year :rotfl: .

Just wanna clarify a few things in your post, with regards to the things you got, basicly i work for orange retail and am reading it from what deals orange are offering at the moment
the 200 extra mins is a deal that orange have at the mo for the first 6 months of the contract, maybe your getting something different but i would check dont want you to be disapointed in 6m time when theres nothing you can do about it
the 1000 texts are the same they are only on the contract for 18months

also the broadband packing which is free on orange is worth 17.99 a month not 22.99

Out of the frying pan and into the fire as they say. ^^ Like he said, I would be surprised if all of the 'deals' they've offered for you are for life, some will be time limited and they very frequently lie when selling as they have done to you (either deliberately or themselves misinformed due to poor training).

Orange might treat you fantastically when you're not a customer, but just wait till you are. :rotfl:

I have checked with orange Twice about the deal, and have spoken to 2 different people who have informed me that is for the life.

It is an 18 month contract, but every phone i have had has always run till about 15/16 months so this doesnt bother me,

22.99 was what i was paying for broadband,so it is a saving for Me

My work phone is orange, i have another phone on orange and have never had i problem with them, Maybe i have been lucky, but they cant be worse than 3g.

hm ok make sure they put a note on the account to that affect and you have the name and extention number of the person you spoke to - well i would anyway
