    time limit/deadline?

I loved hockey. Haven't played for years though

    YES!! :rotfl:

Omg, I had soooo much fun! I have really been struggling with loneliness recently, which in hindsight isn't surprising. I go to work but only part time, so I try to work flat out to compensate, and rarely chat with colleagues, I go running on my own, I go to the gym on my own, I can only go out socially once a fortnight, and unless I have a date, I don't even take advantage of it, I don't see anyone except the kids the rest of the time, and whilst I love their company, it is not the same as having other adults to spend time with...so I think a team sport could be exactly what I need.

Spud..... easy 10k? Is there such a thing? :rotfl: But yes, let's find a nice flat one, in a reasonably warm month (but not too hot). I like running in the cold but prefer socialising in the warmth! :D

Thanks Sal - night night xx

  • All this talk of running...I used to run a bit in my fitter days, but only on a treadie.....wonder if I could get back into it??

DH has taken car out for a test drive....hmm, seems to be hopping out of reverse and 6th gear..he's not a happy bunny....which makes for a miserable SRM household....

So you need one where the finishing line's next to a pub?!

Pap, I'd love something like that as a little gift. In one of my old book clubs, instead of cards someone made us little bookmarks, just card and snowflakes cut out of it but it was so much nicer than just a card. Depends if your workmates are miserable old gits I suppose!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
