  • My Auntie used to make home made xmas presents, and as a kid I used to dread receiving her gifts, because they were so rubbish, and I just used to think she was a cheap skate :rotfl:

Elfen, I saw an ad on tv the other day encouraging teenagers to use contraception and it talked about the coil, so I don't think there'd be a problem.

Yay, my Tesco order's just been delivered, he was much friendlier than the Asda guy. Although I probably should be embarrassed that he thought I was having a party because of all the alcohol and cheese (it's for xmas and was on special offers, you got 500 extra cc points if you bought 5 items from a list, so since there was stuff I was planning to get anyway I went for it).
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Hear, hear...

Opinions please lady's... Right for work I generally give them a gift at christmas, I have done, bottle of wine and chocs, pots of gold, snowman soup and seperate gifts. Now I am really skint his year so I have made it known they wont be getting a gift... plus some dont appreciate it anyways. I was going to do homemade shortbread but decided against it. However I have thought about the following...

A quilled snowflake decoration in their card? See here and here, I will add some silver cotton. They approx work out as 10p each plus 15min of my time. What would you think if you got one? Piece of tat or something to hang on the tree?

    Thanks :A

I used to but people are so reluctant to pay a decent price....I just like faffing around when I'm in the mood too, when anyone pays me to make something I really resent it....if that makes sense.

They would look beautiful on a tree...you clever thing you! I would love to get one of those in a card but you can always guarantee not everyone will like it, guess thats life pap, we all have different tastes. If you think they would appreciate it then go for it, otherwise just stick with a simple card.

Sorry haven't really answered you question have I :rotfl:

Oh they're gorgeous Pap - I'd much prefer one of those to hang on my tree!

I've never tried quilling - looks fab tho!

I love it pooky, its one craft I would never give up. It cheap too only £10 to start and then 99p for the papers. Too addictive though, I could just quill for hours
