I suspect Luc that when you tell her of your lows it brings all her problems to the surface and it sounds like she isn't ready to deal with them so she brushes your comments aside because its probably too painful or makes her think about her own problems. I am sure deep down she would do anything to help you but if she isn't in a good place herself then she isn't fit to offer any advice and will remain in denial on your and her depression.

One day I am sure she will talk to you about it openly

I think her problem in admitting these problems exist is generational in part and also down to the fact my gran has dementia and anything related to 'mental' problems scares her as a result.

The lady who leads the group has contacted their dedicated counselling service and I will be going for a course of 10 sessions to see if that helps at all.

Anyway, onwards and upwards

Bah - still full of the cold although thankfully the sore throat has eased and I (almost) sound normal.

Have an introductory session with the head counsellor lady this afternoon. Not really sure how it works or how structured it all is but worth a go I guess.

Not much else planned for today. Just a spot of tidying then might finish Xmas deccies with a glass or two of (medicinal) Baileys tonight.:D

Bleugh - feel like hammered shoite... half deaf, full of snot and still coughing. Fed up of it now:cool:

Will be home alone tonight as Hubbles has his work Xmas party so will be able to finish knitting his scarf...

Saw a lady for a pre counselling meeting yesterday afternoon. It went quite well, although I am feeling quite detatched from reality at the minute so not sure how much I actually care... Have provisionally agreed a time for sessions but it hinges on me being able to find child care for Nathan for an hour in the middle of the day...

Other than that the only thing to report is that while the company I applied to are interested in meeting me its likely to be April before they actually recruit... back to the drawing board then

In all, so far, today is not a good day...

Get a job
Get fit
Run a half marathon
Fly at least 3 days a week
Get my debt as busted as humanly possible:D
