Happy new diary, happy new fresh start. I do admire the way you have just kept on bouncing back this year, but let's hope for a less stressful 2010. :)

    Thanks Snaggs

I think I genuinely am quite a strong person but that is partly why the PND has rocked me so badly... If nothing else 2009 has taught me to ask for help (and deal with smelly nappies:p:rolleyes:)

I like Radley scarves :) Not that that is particulary relevant :rotfl:

I think getting used to nappies is one of the miracles of motherhood, I don't know how you do it!

I am bored but not quite ready to go to bed yet so going to write up a to do list for tomorrow...
    • Tidy sitting room
    • Tidy our bedroom (3 days of no Flying and suddenly I have a floordrobe:rolleyes:)
    • Clean bathroom (not too bad a jobthanks to aforementioned flying:D)
    • Make 'special' Xmas cards (Mum & Dad, FIL, Brother, Hubbles, Nathan)
    • Make creativity tin
    • Persuade Hubbles to go searching for the rest of the sewing machine (he's got the machine down but no pedal, power cable or tool bax:rolleyes:)
    • If Hubbles gets machine make a sock monkey ( might cut and pin the bits tonight; actually probably not:o)
    • Update menu plan and see what we need fresh for the next couple of days (have only bought milk extra so far this week as Hubbles has had client lunches and I haven't really been eating properly:o)
I'm sure there's probably morebut I can't think of any just now...

  • Lemons and peaches - yum!

Half the battle is finding ways that work for you, so if the housekeeping idea is one, then go for your life! My favoured method is to use a clubcard plus for the Tesco shop - that gets £150 a month loaded on and we run with it constantly in a good deal of credit - that credit is then withdrawn to cover the bulk of our holiday spending money when we go away, it's the one area I save money that I don't count as part of the savings IYSWIM! I then enter all the shopping spending in a spreadsheet so I can keep to budget.

Good luck with the job - hope you get the interview!

*1 piece of diary housekeeping advice. Make your own entries in a different colour to all the other posters... after all it's your entries that should stand out. And it's useful when you read back later....

Top tip which I only spotted when re-reading tonight. As you are the Princess of Purple I've decided to for navy...

Ahem!!!! You've got to look after yourself in all aspects missy!

Lovely to see your new diary and how well you've coped with what must have been a real shocker of a weekend.

Now get the hubby of yours in that loft until he finds all the sewing machine stuff and get crafting, I'm expecting to see photos by the end of the week :D

I know and it really is only looking back after the weekend that I've realised about the food thing:o Am getting back on track with it now though.

I've only got until Friday afternoon to make presents if I want to save posting it as my parents are coming to vist (and drop off pressies:D) so I am aiming to send them back with everything. I have a free pass on the Sunday while they go visit my brother but I'd rather not leave it that close:eek:

You have inspired me though and I am itching to give it a go (be prepared for many stupid questions if I get hooked...)
