I would have gone and got one in northampton , but need to empty freezer by 6th jan , so running it down, bought beef yesterday on offer in sainsbugs so got enough joints now

For those of you who miss out this time, I have been told by a manager that there will be an £8 one next weekend. Starter - salmon, main - beef, dessert - chocolate trifle.

just come back from Morrisons Stratford and they were restocking only saw about 2/3 people by the fridge.

got mine today well we got two lots hubby paid for one lot and me the other (its 20mins drive away so had to make worthwhile). Soups have a date of 2 jan 2010 on them so will be gone before any chance of freezing them.

lots of sprouts and carrots in the pack have popped into some lakeland keep fresh bags so they should last til xmas easy.

now the challenge is to eat 2 trifles before wednesday looks like one each after dinner tommorow!!

Cooked the pork today and it was fab. We even liked the sprouts!!:eek:
Thank for the heads up for next week, not sure I like the idea of chocolate trifle though!

I`ve heard a rumour in my local Morrisons that they are doing a roast beef meal deal starting the middle of next week for £6.00.
can anyone confirm this?
Also, starting monday terrys choclate orange buy one get two free.

the trifle is lovely and the veg is nice and fresh..havent tried meat yet

Got mine in Letchworth this morning. Went for my run in the morning and got there for opening so I could run home with it after, everyone was there all revving their trollies ready to go with one dear actually knocking her husband over to get there, so my advice is get there in running gear as you stand a better chance of getting one round here! Hope the beef deal is as good :snow_laug
