Well we had ours today for lunch and I have to say that the pork was really very tasty and the carrots and sprouts were lovely. I have frozen some of the soup as I got 2 deals so had 4 cartons of soup! What a fantastic deal that was. Thank you Morrisons!:T:T:T

P.S. OH has made a pig of himself with the trifles:D:D:D

I'm gutted i didn't get one of these, not fair how everyone who can get there early gets it (and multiples)

They could have at least staggered the days stock a bit to give everyone else a chance.
  • I went in my local branch at 7.30pm on Fri and there were loads left

I know there was the limit but i just resent (jealous :p) that those able to get there early morning could get the offer and sounds like a lot went back the next morning etc for another.

I hope the beef one is as good value even if it is double the price

With any great deal, there will be those that can get their hands on the deal and those that are too late. Quantities are finite and the deal will run out if you aren'e quick enough. Its a fact of life and its no good waiting until later and then moaning that others got it and you didn't!

I bought 1 pack around 11.30am on Friday (which I don't think was early!), the end chiller was packed full of the offer items and only 1 other person was there actually picking a set up so there was hardly an early stampede for the deal. (Incidentally, no signs mentioning a 1 deal per person limit).

I happened to be in another store on Saturday (mid morning) and again there were stacks of all items available. I didn't buy another set because I haven't any space in my freezer - but , if I HAD wanted another set, then I would have got one and I don't see why I should be critisised for that. Its hardly greedy to buy 2 deals on 2 separate days and its certainly not in the same class as the massive 'grabbing' that went on over the Pepsi bargains or any of the other 'grabbit' items that are so well publicised (and boasted about!) on MSE !

As far as I could see, they were constantly reloading the shelves - I went on Friday and there were lots. For once they really seem to have made sure they had enough in.

The one thing that did concern me was that the cooking instructions seemed to be for another meat and not pork. As it gave timings for Medium and well done

I am not a brilliant cook but even I know that pork and chicken and turkey all have to be cooked well and no pink.

Eh? Medium is cooked. They did not give timings for being cooked rare.
