I am new to MSE, this is my first post, but I have been reading posts for a while now. This is my favourite thread.

    Mine too.

At first I was reluctant to join as I know some forums and threads can be very opinionated and see heated arguements or peoples views being shot down, but after reading this for quite a while now you all seem such a lovely bunch of people that I have decided to just go for it. I hope I am welcome

Of course you are welcome, I know what you mean by heated arguements blah blah on other threads. Its so... off putting. On here you don't have to take us seriously we are sort of crazy visual bunch of friends including you.:D

It's so annoying that everything in the UK stops because it's the weekend and we are forced to talk to someone in another country that really doesn't give a monkeys if you are don't get the service you are paying for! As you know my Mom-in-law passed away suddenly last Sat, well because she died on the weekend we were told we wouldn't hear from the coroner until Monday! Mind you, Monday came and went and still we didn't hear anything from the coroner so Hubby called the bereavement officer at the hospital and she said we weren't to do anything until we heard from the coroner. After about an hour, Hubby decided to call the coroner himself. Good thing he did as he knew nothing of Mom's death!!! When he called us back he said it took 3 times of calling for him to get through to the hospital and it turned out that the hospital was sending the information about Mom to the wrong fax number!!!!! Wouldn't you think that a hospital would know the coroner's fax number?! And can you imagine being the person that received the fax?! I wonder where and who got the fax!!!:eek: So we lost 3 days due to the incompetence of the hospital. Mental note to self: best to avoid anything breaking down, getting ill or dying on a weekend.;)

When I shopped in Tesco yesterday I only spent £26 before my coupons.

Used sons Clubcard as it was the first one I got out of my bag and he only uses it to buy petrol, and got a £7 till spit off a £50 spend for next week.

I have not been getting any till spits when I use my own clubcard so will use his again next time I shop and see what happens.
