I have a till spit for 300 points when you top up £20 by e-top up with Tesco mobile.
Will this work if I scan it on an o2 £20 top up?
although Tesco mobile piggyback off that dire/ripoff network O2, there network is treated a completely seperate business entity from that of O2.
The answer to your question therefore is no!0 -

Someone told me Tesco do extra points if you buy certain food items in store (not vouchers in the post). I have never seen these, not that I go in that often or have looked that thoroughly. Are they on the shelves by the products or what? A friend said he bought cheese instore and got 400 points.
I'm also after these sort of deals as I often do grocery shopping online. Anyone know if there's a special page on Tesco.com detailing the latest points promotions on individual products?
Or anywhere else for that matter.0 -

I've not seen anything like this instore on food, perhaps it's regional like some of the pricing. 400 points seems an awful lot for cheese, somehow, especially considering till spits and vouchers sent with mailings are usually about 20 - 100 points on food items. Be happy to be proved wrong as I do like my cheese!!0 -
Hi
When I get my clubcard mailing I tend to get points vouchers to take to the till but I always forget. On the website it says you can change to evouchers. Which is best do you think? Is this how people post codes on here, is this where they come from?
Sorry to be so thick.
Thanks to this site I have gained thousands of points instead of the usual 150!

Personally I get normal vouchers and spend them instore. I like to be able to stand and compare extra points vouchers and see if the extra points are worth getting compared to other special offer prices.

The evouchers will only work if you shop online - the codes that people post on here have normally been sent/emailed to them BUT please note that there are now targetted codes for individuals...where as before we could all use the same code (normally the format would be XX-????) they are now longer alphanumeric codes that only work once.
Therefore if you don't get sent any codes you cannot use the more interesting 1000 pointers etc like before. There are a few XX codes still about but they are far less interesting and my suspicion is that TEsco are phasing these out (only my opinion and no proof of this but I think they've realised at last that we are all abusing and sharing the codes)
THEREFORE it might be sensible to get another clubcard registered at your address (I have four at my house and this is the maximum I'd recommend) and have one lot of vouchers sent as normal and on the other ask for evouchers?!
Hope this helpsTesco is my second home:j0 -
I noticed that for new tesco breakdown cover taken out between now and 2nd April 2008, tesco are offering a 30% discount. They are also offering an extra 250 clubcard points if you purchase it over the phone and "take out automatic renewal".
Does anyone know what exactly this means? What I mean is, if I do agree to the automatic renewal, what if I change my mind when the renewal comes up. There may be a more competitive deal elsewhere at that time. Does anyone know if I am actually obliged to renew with Tesco, surely they can't hold me to a contract for more than the first year.
I ask because 250 points is £10 in deals, effectively making the Tesco Extra Cover Level 3 cover an amazing £45 for the first year, but if I'm held to the second year (assuming no increase to the normal rate) the second year would be a much less competitive £79 so I could end up losing out in the longer term.
One other question, my current breadown cover doesn't end until 6th May 2008, as long as I purchase the breakdown cover before 2nd April but with a start date of 6th May, I assume I'll still qualify for the special offer?

Not sure if this has already been mentioned or not.
Does anyone know the cut off date for the February club card statements ?.
I.E. Any points earned after the end of Jan will go onto the next statement, not the Feb one ?. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0
