You have to set up a STO - but can do so for just £1 and then top up at customer services just before you shop.Start every day by telling yourself how beautiful and intelligent you are0 -

Also check https://www.tescovouchercodes.blogspot.com or https://www.hotukdeals.com
for tesco codes.
Thanks jeppy. These lists of e vouchers are a great idea. I may never have to go to the store again!!

Can anyone tell me any good / bad stories on the energy service through powergen / tesco.
By my calculations I should save £140 a year including the points I will earn. (to be spent on deals of course!)

I have one of the original Tesco Credit cards it gives 1 point per £1 spent in Tesco and 1 point per £2 spent elsewhere. I use my credit card for everything, and pay it off every month. I have my phone through Tesco, and my dry cleaning goes to Johnsons cleaners who give points also. I used to be with Powergen but have changed to Scottish Power as they worked out cheaper even with the deals.
My shopping is delivered I pay £3.99 for Tue/wed del. I use the discount codes at https://www.tescovouchercodes.blogspot.com. at the moment spend £75 get 1000 points or spend £50 and get 500 points. Remember if you dont spend £50 a week on shopping use the 2 for 1 offers to top up your bill it goes through at the normal price and the discount is taken off when your final invoice comes through. Last week I had a final bill of £62 for a original bill of £79. Buy 12 bottles of wine, costs £5 to have them delivered but there is a code for 1000 points worth £40 in deals.
The benefit is once every 2 years we go on a great holiday, last April we went to Barbados. Next year we are looking at somewhere just as good.
It is possible to get some great deals, the hardest thing is paying off the credit card every month!0 -
Dont forget to check the pay at pump machines i found a £70 receipt yesterday0

Thought this would be very useful information for you all regarding topping up the clubcard plus.
I've found out that you don't have to have a STO/DDR set up to regularly transfer money to your account. I haven't got one in place and did the following this morning:-
Went to CS in local Tesco Extra, paid in £135 cash to my Clubcard Plus account.
Did shopping which totalled £63, scanned my lottery syndicate quick pay cards, bringing shopping total to £85.
Paid for whole lot with clubcard plus (obviously you don't get the points on lottery sales though).
Went to tesco petrol station, paying at the pump using my clubcard plus for just under £50 worth of diesel.
So I can conclusively state that you can pay in cash without having a STO in place and the cash is creditted immediately.
Happy shopping, and thanks to all that posted on here for sparking that interest in me that made me pursue this. I'm now going to be getting 8% back on all my Tesco related purchases
Cheers

l have tried a link on the Tesco site for a e-card but its invalid, as anyone done it this way and will the local store be of any use with this.
Thanks0 -
The receipts at the pay at pump dont have any information on them really though, but will they still credit them at the CS desk?
Thanks0 -
A couple of years ago, Tesco gave the option of automatically converting your vouchers to Airmiles and I opted for that as I used all my points for Airmiles. As luck would have it, I was at that time I was on what was called a Premium rate for conversion of vouchers to airmiles (due to having a hungry family and not much time to go to lots of shops). That is, for £2.50-worth of vouchers, I get 80 airmiles, rather than the standard 60. Tesco promised I would stay on that rate, and so it has proved, even though all letters I get from Tesco or Airmiles refer to 60 airmiles. So with the Clubcard plus I get double points, and 33% more airmiles! It's getting easier to add to the airmiles ( if you're organised) as you can now collect by doing online purchases with many internet retailers via their site-- assuming you remember which ones are hooked in....
Thanks for the really helpful link to voucher codes!

They say if a clubcard has been used at the bottom of the receipt , if it says nothing then one hasnt been used and you can go to the CS desk and get them added to your account0
