Hello. I recently sent off for £35 in deals tokens to use in Harry Ramsden's. When they arrived there was no mention of Harry Ramsden's on them, it just says they can be used against food only. Does this mean they can be used towards any of the restaurants in the deals brochure?

sorry can I ask where this would be advertised as I bought some party stuff today. There wasnt a yellow label saying extra points but on som items it said "clubcard points too". The lady on customer service refused to give me any extra pointsMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

In the store that I go to, it was on the shelf edge label. I have just looked online and the offer is on until 1 June. If you look at groceries online and put in "high school musical" and then click on party tableware it will bring up the high school musical items. Then click on "show rest of shelf" and it will bring up more items that have the 50 extra points: disney princess, spiderman 3, spongebob and winnie the pooh. Prices start at £1.50 per item, and with 50 extra points (worth £2 in deals) it certainly is a good deal. I bought some plates a couple of weeks ago instore and the points went on no problem, so I am not sure what has gone wrong in your case._pale_0 -

Bournemouth Extra is my local store and I have had no trouble finding partyware for extra points - luckily for me both my kids have birthdays in a couple of weeks. The partyware is downstairs by the magazines and birthday cards etc and the items with extra points all have yellow SELs.

please be reassured any help will not go unappreciated and favours will be returned when i have info to share think of the larger picture these points are not worth tens or hundreds they are worth thousands!0 -
Hope someone can help.
With the new Clubcrads having our names on them does this mean we cannot use other peoples extra points vouchers?
Also jointly my partner and we have 3 clubcard accounts 1 in each individual name and one jointly (which suddenly appeared after we took ouut a Tesco Credit Card). In the mailings I have 3 identical vouchers for 25 points when spending £1 on cakes etc. Does this mean I can use all 3 vouchers on the same £1 purchase or do I need to spend £3 on cakes?
Thanks0 -
Also in Tesco instore ONLY there are 400 extra points (worth £16 in deals) when you buy a locking box file thing that you slot documents in (sorry about poor description!) - costing £16. Also, 50 points when you buy children's felt-tip pens that cost £2.00 and a few more other stationery items with extra points. I believe these are available until 1 June, as well as the children's Tesco Go Create painting books etc (50 extra points) that I mentioned in a previous post.0

Ah, no, see, that's the AirMiles usage. See here - http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=237 - for the 600 BA miles per £2.50 voucher. I thought it was a mistake, but evidently not. However, I believe that AirMiles and BA miles add up differently.
What I will tell you is that 1,000 BA miles, if you purchase to top up your Executive Club account, will cost you £31! That means that for the same amount in Tesco vouchers (£31), you can get 7,440 BA miles! I think that's quite a good return...and it means that rather than the 4x that Deals usually get you, you're getting 7.44x their face value.
However, you must first be a member of the BA Executive Club (form here: https://www.britishairways.com/travel/execenrol/public/en_gb). Hope that helps!
Thanks Lyssie for your very helpful post- have checked this out as I currently use airmiles. The BA miles do seem very generous. However you have to pay taxes, fees and charges on BA miles and Airmiles have recently started to include all these in the flight cost- therefore no cash has to be paid. Airmiles have also streamlined places into 'zones' with a flat rate of airmiles to be paid for all places within the zone.
So I just put in 'Bordeaux' on the BA miles website (ta for your links) and I need 9000 miles to get there at the moment ie: £37.50 in Tesco vouchers, plus I must pay all the charges etc. According to the Tesco Deals brochure on the Airmiles page, Bordeaux is in zone 2 so will cost 1,500 miles (ie. £62.50 in Tesco vouchers) but includes all charges etc. I've not actually checked the Airmiles website, as 1,500 miles is very cheap at this time of year, so will have to confirm that this is a blanket all-year-round cost- if so it makes it very cheap for late bookings for the Summer!
Hope this helps the debate. :cool:0
