Does anyone remember a promo in Debenhams (i think it was around Christmas) that if you spent 500 nectar points instore, you'd receive 500 points back in the next mailing?

My mailing has come this morning:

    points redeemed: 500 in debenhams

points received (in Debenhams) : 36

Anyone else got the same problem?

Yeah i had this too, it shows as 1point on my statement now - i tried to live chat with them and they said i would have to ring up - so thats what i am about to do!

Got an e-mail today offering me a free eye test at Dollond & Aitchison and 500 nectar points. Open until May and only if you haven't had an eye test at D&A in the last 2 years.

I think the 'live assistance' is the biggest con ever. They always introduce theirselves as 'English names' like 'debbie' or 'samantha' but their responses are clearly using and online translator. They have never once answered a question I have asked out of the 8 times i've tried, and always responded in 'translated enlish'. I now always ask the 'live person' whether they reside in the UK. So far they have all answered 'no'.

Is it me or does anyone else thing this is UNBELIEVABLY WRONG TO LIE TO US LIKE THIS?

Got this at The Ideal Home Exhibition -
Register your Nectar card to your phone & every time you call a tradesman in the ThomsonLocal directory you get 50 Nectar points!!

Just call 0800 005 1109 by 31st May 2008 - worked for me but not seen any points on my ac yet.

Not sure how it works - you could just dial millions of numbers?!!!

This may have been mentioned before.
For the past few weeks, I have been using some vouchers that will gain me quadruple Nectar points on a £30+ spend at Sainsburys. Others may have received them for other minimum amounts. I suspected that last week's shopping would be less than £30 (it was actually around £27), so I picked up an iTunes gift card for £15.

I later remembered that you can gain Nectar points if you spend at iTunes through eNectar. Has anybody else tried this and can other giftcards, like Debenhams, be redeemed through Nectar eStores?

I have also noticed that Sainsburys have changed their Nectar rate for petrol at some time in the past from 2 per £ to 1 per litre. I guess if they had left it the same, their rate for petrol would have been double BP's rate at current prices.

that is a crafty little move because you are getting less points as petrol is over a pound a litre now.
