    Hello

I've got 7000 odd airmiles. I've just got a shell card and registered it online - will it link automatically to my airmiles account?

    Many thanks.

It looks like the Airmiles cash passport link is down? Either someone forgot to renew the domain, there is a typo or something else.

http://www.airmiles.co.uk/collect/travelex/travelex-cash-passport - click through to "Order Airmiles Cash Passport" to see what I mean.
  • Doesn't work for me either, on Chrome or IE.
    Will phone Airmiles.
  • Are the people who're having problems using O2 broadband? I disconnected from O2 and used mobile broadband, and the link worked.
  • I've been waiting to book a flight, but was a few hundred miles short, so was waiting for my 500 bonus m,iles from duo card to be credited before making the booking. I needed a total of 18500 miles for the booking, but when I've logged on now, it's saying that I need 24000 miles! Have I lost the plot, or has the cost in miles recently been put up?
    Thanks to anyone who knows!

What's your destination? The "zone" amounts are still the same: 750 miles for a standard hop across the channel up to 10000 miles for Australia.

  • Bangkok - did I just get it completely wrong?
Ah - now I remember what I was thinking! That if I got the extra bonus miles, I'd have enough to pay for 2 tickets in full & half of one - derr!!!
    Thanks anyway!

Nice one... if you go to Bangkok, make sure you visit Mrs Balbir's Indian Restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 11/1 (a sidestreet off the main Soi). Best onion bhajis you will ever eat... anywhere! :j

Yep, you can use the card in the UK - just take it to an ATM and withdraw your £500 (you might need to do two visits of £250).

You are fine to top up again, but note that you won't get the 100 bonus miles as that's only given on your first application. So the cost per mile goes up from 3p per mile to around 9p per mile. Still cheaper than buying miles, but not quite the bargain the first load is.

There is an upper limit for reloads on the card - can't recall exactly what it is, but it's something like £1500 in sixty days.

Can someone help me please. If I load this up with sterling using my Lloyds tsb debit card will I get a 2pct fee?

I can use my Halifax clarity card but think that this might be treated as a cash advance.

    Any advice is appreciated.

I think you're right about the credit card - almost definitely will be treated as a cash advance. It's unlikely on a debit card, but I can't say for sure (I used my Nationwide debit card).
