Well I think its up to individuals to decide how they spend their Christmas. For me, I like to spend Christmas day at home with my own family (i.e. husband and the kids) and to do the travelling to the other relatives (i.e. our respective parents) on Christmas Eve and Boxing day.

I can't abide my MIL... I wouldn't want to be in the same room as her... But I would let hubby take the children to visit if he wanted to...

Our christmas is a lovely one... We spend it at home, just us and the children...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Erm, yes it is. One when he was 0, one when he was 1 and this one when he's 2 equals 3 xmases.

Are you sure you should be medicating anyone??!

If it happened any other day of the year it would be a total non-issue. If doing it on Christmas Day is a cause of upset, then perhaps you should do without Christmas?

I can't understand why people get so excited about what other people choose to do on 25th December...it's just one day after all.

Cos as far as we're concerned, it's the biggest family day in the calendar. No way I would be without my DH and 3 children on Christmas Eve let alone Christmas Day.

She spent Christmas day sitting on her own but that's alright because she was *at home*.
Yes it IS alright because it's clearly what she wanted and what made her happy. Why do you want everyone to do things your way and break out the laughing smilies and rolling eyes if they do things their way?
