I wouldnt have the courage to do that, myy store can be funny at the best of times.

DONT PAY VIA PAYPAL if you do this as the store cant issue paypal refunds.

Just be careful with this... if you get an a*** SA/ manager they might not auth the refund as it's cosmetics which technically they don't have to refund even if you are rebuying it

Aren't web sales covered by the Distance Selling Regs i.e. you are entitled to a refund?

Then they'd prob argue with you to send it back to Boots.com? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't happen but you never know... just think you get to a store where they're all OOS and the SA takes a fancy to it x

  • I just checked online and it didn't say anything about exclusions for refunding cosmetics in store.

It did say this though.... which is very puzzling???

You can return any unwanted items free of charge within 28 days for a refund or replacement as long as they are unused and in the original packaging and condition. Unfortunately we aren't able to exchange items. Any Advantage Card points earned against any item(s) you return for a refund will be removed in accordance with the Advantage Card terms and conditions.

    ???? Don't get it

Wouldn't it also work if you order it from the Web site on the in-store system now (don't know what it's called, the thing that lets you order online from the store and pay when it arrives, which some people do so they can pay with points, use vouchers, etc), and then just go in to pick it up and pay AFTER the offer of the week deal starts?

I'm not doing that, btw, as I'm refraining from this deal because I have too much stuff and no space now! But I can't help reading about it because I do think this gift box is fab!
  • No chance would I risk this.... Last year I tried to exchange a Sanctuary Gift Set last year as I'd bought one too many & wanted to exchange for a mens gift set instead, you'd think I was asking for something competely out of order! I'm sure you'll be able to get one somewhere without causing yourself hassle & people behind huffing at you as you're holding up the queue!
