Playhouse - Daughter's Gift (4 Years Old) - Help!!

Dear All,

I am looking for a playhouse for my daughter. Do you have any good ideas?

She is 4 years old and I am thinking of getting all the family to chip in, rather than her getting the usual "too many presents" this year scenerio. I'd rather get a wooden one, to be honest. None of her friend's have one, so not really sure what to go for.

Ideally looking to spend around £200-250, wouldn't mind one cheaper than that even. Hehe

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Many thanks

Really satisfied with it and its a real battle to get her out of it for bath time! This one looks good too though it is smaller but for the price its worth a peek:

    Hope this helps, good hunting!

We bought our daughter (now 3 1/2) a plastic one last year. This one (in pink):

She still likes it. It has a door she can open and shut and similarly shutters on all windows. She can hide inside, then open a window and shout "boo". Inside there is a (toy) sink, cooker and telephone, so she can pretend to cook, do the washing up and call her friends. There's a also a seat which is too high for her at the moment, so it is a table for her cuddly toys to sit on (as they wait for their dinner).

It was fairly easy to put together - A slots into B type construction and just a few screws at the end.

A few months ago I gave it a quick hose down to clean it up a little, and it seemed fine. Other than that, there's been no maintenance.

My only complaint is it's too small for me! If I stand up straight I bang my head on the roof, so I'm always bending over or crouching down. (Oh and the door is a little narrow for me too).
