I have managed to blag my slot I rang the telephone number show on the email given by another lovey member (on page 20 of this thread) its the VIP helpline number I said that the link in my email wasnt working and could she book it for me? She first tried to fobb me off by saying check again at four but I said I coudnt as I was going out so she booked it for me! 22nd dec 7pm - 11.59pm I have had the email to confirm :T

Well.....that shouldn't make a difference - I'm still gutted coz i spend loads throughout the year as do others - just nice to get clothes at half the price for a change!0 -

But what about the people who have never had one - I agree with the other lady maybe you were lucky and should now give the others a go, their money is just as good as anyone elses and imagine how they have felt watching the same people get a slot x0

I'm sorry to be a killjoy here but it's about time Next Customer Services got their act together.
They shouldn't except any phone slots until the emails go live. Why their department head cannot stipulate no slots can be allocated until then is beyond me.

I don't understand why everyone is trying to jump the queue here. The poor Customer Services people at Next must be snowed under with people freaking out about getting a VIP invite, when they should in actuality be dealing with calls from customers who want to order something, or who actually have a query that is important.
It's like watching sheep on this forum - one does something, and loads of others follow. If people are just patient and wait their turn for invites to arrive - or not as the case may be - then it's fair, because that's how it's supposed to work. It's not like a life-or-death situation, it's clothes, bags, etc - material stuff, what's the big deal?
Couldn't agree more! As tempting as it is, I prefer to do things the honest way! If I get selected, I get selected, if not, then I don't intend to lie/cheat/blag (whichever it is), my way into getting one! It's just not worth it for clothes!0 -
