I'd buy it in the sale too and return the full priced one unworn with receipt, not sure how many days you get to do that though.0 -

thanks for your help.
if i cant manage to get one in the sale too (i dont think they stock it in the directory and not sure if i will be going instore) do you think i could just buy it now, return it after the sale, and buy it back at the till there and then with the sale price? (i reckon i would have long enough as you get a month for a refund dont you) or are they likely to refuse to re sell it to me?
i have done this recently with new look but dont know what next are like to deal with.0 -
Hi all
I've just checked my e-mails and for 2007 and 2008 the VIP and invites have gone out on 20th December. Looks like it will be tomorrow if it follows the previous years.0 -
Tracyandluke08 It depends on the discretion of the manager when it comes to re-selling. The problem for us, is that when they are checking over the returns, the item isnt there so if we were to do that several times in a day we are likely to get into trouble for it and it is frowned upon internally.0

I've been in M&S and seen people returning stuff and once they've seen the sale price they want to buy it back at the reduced price, they've always been refused, not sure what Next's policy is though or what the return time is, I know its only 10 days with the directory.tracyandluke08 wrote: »thanks for your help.

isnt it a goodwill gesture if a shop takes something back despite there being nothing wrong with it? plus loads of shops only give you the value of the current selling price, which would be the sale price. cant see it happening to be honestlet he without sin cast the first stone0
