Probably because they have allowed everyone the same time slot starting at 7am - it will probably happen again tonight at 6pm when the people who chose that time try and access it website cannot handle it so the system has probably crashed... so annoying -

Just found another way of getting in. Type in just www.next.co.uk (i.e. the normal web address), then log into your account. Once logged in it should take you through to a page which says something like you are now within your sale window. Click on this and then it takes you through to the main sale site. All mine down. Wanted 9 items. All but 2 out of stock!!!

EDIT - Also check the main site if something out of stock on the sale stock. Wanted a console table which was out of stock on the sale site. Thought it was a bit odd as I wouldn't expect Next to run out of furniture unless its the end of a line or they limit so many items for sales (are they allowed to do this??) so opened the main next site and typed the product code in. Up it comes with the sales price and its allowed me to order it. Fingers crossed it all goes through ok. £250 down to £125.

I got on in the end and did my order. Couldn't get most of the boys clothes I wanted tho so it looks like I will be down there boxing day!

Looks as though my iPod nano might be going back - I think it might be the 4th g and not the 5th g that was in the sale, according to Next pages the earlier model is more expensive than the latest model. Strange!

Yes, someone mentioned it on the grabbit board, and I have just rebooked for 6pm tonight.
Edit - however when I click on the link in the confirmation email to view sale listings, I get the 'only for limited number of customers' message, so don't think it will work.

Ah I wish I'd read this properly last night, I scan read the thread while the Next site was slowing down and just made a mental note to check fragrances so just selected that drop down instead of typing it in!!! :rolleyes: Finding nothing there worth having I presumed it had all gone but have checked again today by typing fragrance just like you said and there's loads of great offers. Great find!
Shame I'm now out of my time slot but I'm still very pleased with what will (hopefully) arrive soon.

I can book another slot and it lets me click through to the sale listings preview from my account page. Interestingly they have some things available in my size that weren't before so I guess their stock levels have been updated.

I had my slot last night, but have logged into my account this morning and been offered another slot, earliest tonight at 6pm! I can't bear anymore, but it may be worth you giving it a go if theres stuff you've forgotten.
