I have never heard of this site, how long have you been with them and are they any good?
Would I be able to find a link for them on another thread on these forums? If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours0 -

Halifax Credit Card paid out 20.00 + xtra 2% loyalty bonus via Fatcheese after 5 weeks, thought info might be useful to those who like to try and build up higher redeem values than daily clicks will allow by themselves. :cool:0 -

Is new site it appears, out of the listed dailies I will probably only risk doing SFB.Gives 1.00 joining bonus.

I spotted a post on it yesterday morning elsewhere on MSE, was later deleted for apparent blatant advertising.
Eager Learner and others have previously expressed an interest in energy switch cashbacks. ( myself and others switch to a tariff without exit penalties and switch again once cashback has been validated, can be a good earner especially for those who are low energy users. I get more in Cashback than I spend on energy.

I was thinking of doing the energy switch around game this year as I use quite a low amount of electric - don't have gas, so lower gains to be made
Roughly how long do they take to validate and pay the cashback? Am I right it can take up to 6 weeks to do the switch, so adding that period onto the time required to be validated means you can't actually get that many swaps done in a year.
But still something worth looking into.
Just on cashbackcascade and ShoppingForDiscounts search failing to find a single product no matter what you click or put in the searchbox.
Nothing confirmed on thincheese for me yet as I only started clicking there in January so nothing will be due to me until around April, but it's tracking ok with £11.58 pending. Managed to get 34 to track last Thursday, but nothing showing since then till they update my account."Click the pennies. Collect the pounds."0 -

Tip is go to https://www.energyhelpline.com ( more impartial than Uswitch in many opinions) put in usage and see who comes out the best, also look at tariffs that are more expensive as these will often be the ones without exit penalties. I use no gas ...around 75.00 a quarter electricity, switch duel fuel. ( eat out mainly ) After checking with energyhelpline clear cookies before going to cashback site.
These are the main tariffs to look for without exit penalties
BG ( Standard or words to that effect)
E.ON Track and Save ( There is another tariff as well with similar costings)
Scottish Power ( Online energy SC or no SC ( without a number)
Npower ( energy helpline will state which has exit penalties)
EDF ( Standard Tariff)
Generally validation is under 2 Months, I apply to switch every 2/3 months, On my way to Npower atm switch has taken 5 weeks nearly there not validated yet. Then im off back to SP
Scottish Power seem to be quickest to validate and pay.
E.ON slow making final bills up.
EDF slow at transferring in, validates and pays without undue delay.
BG, I not been there 4 ages due to lower Cashback rates than SP and E.ON.:(
TBH only having one fuel to switch might not make constant switching worthwhile, just odd ones here and there possibly.
Edited to add @ Idlesaver, Obv i picked a EDF tariff with no exit penalties, the one you picked says "you may be charged a cancellation fee." Might be worthwhile complaining on basis that "will" and "may" are not the same thing. Might be worth a post on energy board to see if anyone has avoided EDF cancellation fees especially as I believe that some of its tariffs suffered price increases around 10 January 2010, if your tariff was increased that would be a reason for claiming that you shouldnt/ may not:rotfl: be charged an exit fee. :cool:0 -
Cheers for that fast update. Will have to look into it more.
Does eating many beans justify claiming I have a limited gas supply here?"Click the pennies. Collect the pounds."0 -
Thanks for detail analysis BLF.....
I think I made a mistake in plan in my recent switch to EDF. I got a letter that if I leave before Dec 2010, I will have to pay £25 fee for each Gas and Elec....  :eek:0 -
Hi again.
Wonder if someone could help me? I'm trying to get clued up on the lingo used on cashback sites. I've been clicking on a link for Land's End on Cash Back Chief, which says it will pay 10p cashback with every lead. No other daily click talks about a lead. What's a lead??? Is that just clicking the link and then clicking on an item and closing the wondow, or does this mean something else?
Sorry for rambling - just want to check I'm going to get my 30p for the last 3 days lol! Hope this makes sense!:A2014 = my year for change!:mad:Credit Cards are NOT my friends and I'm NOT playing with them anymore0 -

To get the cashback for Land's End you need to sign up to their newsletter, each time you do this you will need to use a different email address.0 -
