Feel so stupid... for some reason my browser cache was taking priority and showing the "old" copy of my account page on cashbackchief.
A good start for February and the year with the following cashout requests...
£32.20 cashbackchief
£7.79 topcashback
£6.99 cashbackkings"Click the pennies. Collect the pounds."0 -
I take it that everyone is staying clear of cashinco now? What's the story behind them?0
-
I have never heard of this site, how long have you been with them and are they any good?
Would I be able to find a link for them on another thread on these forums?
Thank you very much for your reply bristolleedsfan
but as it's a YourBrand site I won't be joining them! I can't understand why the tracking should be worse on these sites than anywhere else but I am sick of having clicks cancelled! also these sites seem to change hands far too often mostly leaving the members without payment. They also have more than their fair share of new sites opening and then closing with the same results, the members are not paid after a few months .If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours0 -
I think Cashinco has been reported to Trading Standards because they hadn't paid anybody since August last year, well thats the last time I was paid anyway, also I believe he hadn't been on the forums for quite a while either. The site seems to be down again so I can't check.
CashbackCascade and CashbackChief on the other hand paid the majority of their members last month as usual, and although some issues still need to be addressed it's unfair to say that there has been a complete lack of contact as the last time Rick was on the forums of both sites was on 11th February.
I think under the circumstances Trading Standards will not be interested. hth
Hi BenS1
As I said above he stopped paying or communicating with his members around August last year, things had been a bit iffy for a few months before that .but up until then his sites were great, and I for one feel really sorry it has come to this as I had £100's from him. His sites are now up for sale and I am hoping someone will buy them and pay the members what they are owed.If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours0 -

Any thoughts ?
Cashback Chief.

I still live with my parents, so don't have any mortgage or anything and don't see that i'll need a loan in the immediate future, so might give a couple a go and see how i get on and maybe a few more down the line somewhere
Think i applied for my credit report before and it was fine then. Might do that again too so that i can check and get more cashback while i'm at it :T
Nice, quick and easy Capital One Credit Card payment following a non tracking claim. :j Will cancel the card unused today.
So that was two credit cards successfully applied for during the same week in January with both Cashbacks now received, prior to that Play.com CC, Amazon CC and Halifax CC all successfully applied for during final quarter of 2009.

I use no gas ...around 75.00 a quarter electricity, switch duel fuel. ( eat out mainly ) After checking with energyhelpline clear cookies before going to cashback site.
These are the main tariffs to look for without exit penalties
BG ( Standard or words to that effect)
E.ON Track and Save ( There is another tariff as well with similar costings)
Scottish Power ( Online energy SC or no SC ( without a number)
Npower ( energy helpline will state which has exit penalties)
EDF ( Standard Tariff)
Generally validation is under 2 Months, I apply to switch every 2/3 months, On my way to Npower atm switch has taken 5 weeks nearly there not validated yet. Then im off back to SP
Scottish Power seem to be quickest to validate and pay.
E.ON slow making final bills up.
EDF slow at transferring in, validates and pays without undue delay.
BG, I not been there 4 ages due to lower Cashback rates than SP and E.ON.:(
TBH only having one fuel to switch might not make constant switching worthwhile, just odd ones here and there possibly.
Edited to add @ Idlesaver, Obv i picked a EDF tariff with no exit penalties, the one you picked says "you may be charged a cancellation fee." Might be worthwhile complaining on basis that "will" and "may" are not the same thing. Might be worth a post on energy board to see if anyone has avoided EDF cancellation fees especially as I believe that some of its tariffs suffered price increases around 10 January 2010, if your tariff was increased that would be a reason for claiming that you shouldnt/ may not:rotfl: be charged an exit fee.
I've changed from Eon > SP > npower all through Quidco. (Npower has been declined though  )
If I wanted to return to SP, would it be better to use TCB, or would Quidco still payout?0 -

Yes many of us alternate between the different energy companies, effectively going around in circles. Have done so for 2.5 years never had a rejection.I do tend to alternate between cashback sites though so as not to be seen to abuse an offer on one particular cashback site.
Scottish Power is now 120.50 until Thursday night + 2% extra via Fat Cheese after registering for its loyalty scheme, also Cashback Guarantee.
+ up to 10% more via TCB depending on previous months transactions. If you plan to switch again pick Online Energy SC or NSC with no number after it after checking yourself that it has no mention of exit penalties.
Did your Npower validate ok ?????? This is the first time that ive gone to Npower as up until now they were only offering 40.00My plan is to catch SP 120.50 switch offer probably via Fatcheese as I last switched to SP via TCB in October.

Has put me off Quidco a bit now, TBH.
Thanks for the advice. I had no problems with SP as a company (although they did drag their heels a bit at paying me my £130 that I was in credit by when I swapped to npower) and they seem to have consistently high rates of cashback on offer :beer:0 -
Confirmations on Cashback Chief have now been completed, payment requests can now be made where confirmed balances are 15.00 + :j0
