Apart from the usual ring Thorntons up and go off on one, do as I have just done. Walk to front door, open the front door, take a deep breath. Then let out one almighty SCREAM, it works wonders. Believe me if my flowers are not here in the 30 mins (any later and they wil be here too late) then I am going to ring that bloody place yet again and demand first my money back, nearly £70 then I am going to find the munber for the MD and see wht they have to say.

I still haven't got a refund through paypal, for 2 orders but got 2 cancellation emails. Who knows what they are doin. let me know if any of you call up. I spent £10 on each order.

I think thye are really out of order now. Most of us have been sat waiting for goods that we have paid for and they are taking the p*** anyway I found this number and I intend to ring Emma Tagg at 4pm

Well with only 20 mins left to my be here or else rant, my order has turned up. I wish I could say my boxes were crap but I cant. The flowers are beautiful, (the thing I wanted to come more than anything) Chocolates are what i expected, but the £50 hamper isnt as i expected. But it was a freebie so i cant complain. Will I order from them again on line? no its not worth the hassle.
I wish eveyone waiting for orders or refunds good luck.

I'm pleased they arrived for you, why wasn't the £50 hamper as you expected?
I don't think I can be bothered to phone them so if it hasn't come by monday or tuesday and I haven't received a refund I will email them.

Changed my mind and have emailed them now, asking what is going on and why they are honouring some ordes and not others etc, hopefully they will get back to me soon.

I e-mailed them yesterday and they said i could expect a refund in 5-6 working days. They also didnt have a reason really for why some people got orders and some have had them cancelled, all they said were that some had slipped through the net

They got back to me (which was very fast) saying they hjave all been cancelled and they just automatically show as despatched once they are cancelled. I have emailed back again though to ask why other people have received theirs.

Oh well hopefully we will have better luck next time.

Quidco give a code XE9T for 20% discount on thorntons but its not being recognised when I try it - anyone else used it?

well mine finally showed up today - all £2 odds worth of choc and the £50 treats - I'm delighted - this is the first time I've managed to take advantage of a glitch and although I wouldn't have bought the Festive Treats hamper I'm more than happy with the contents. The fudge box is lovely- now I just need to find homes for them

Hopefully all those who missed out will be lucky with the next glitch - at least we all know that any such finds will be posted here for people to take advantage of.:T
