Ignore Parking Eye but write and express your disgust to Morrisons. It's quite reasonable to spend an hour in the cafe and an hour doing a big shop. If you can play the game and try and persuade Morrisons to get the 'limit' upped to 3 hours (ignoring the unenforceability of the charge) you can get back at Parking Eye by depriving them of a big wad of cash.

Stealth would be a good way to get revenge in this instance.

Help me out here.....

Just so I get it right....you can read, you just can't understand the bit that says 'All PPC tickets are unenforcable, ignore everything and do not pay??'

Please confirm my understanding is correct and I'll be happy to try to explain it a bit more clearly.

The law has now been changed wrt parking: see Private Parking Regulations (Amendments) 2009 - HMSO ISBN Publication No: 26535473289

The new law states:

If you have an IQ between 0 and 12 you MUST send the money within 7 days.

If you have an IQ between 13 and 21 you MUST send the money within 21 days.

If you have an IQ over 21 and can read you do not need to pay at all.

Why do people post things like......

I know 5000 people on here have told me not to pay it, and no one has ever been successfully done for not paying, and I know they don't know it was me because the car was registered to another name/address, and I know my case is no different from the hundreds of other ones posted on here [that I can't be bother to read]......

..but I've received a ticket from Thicko Scammo Private Parking Company in Tecso car park and I was wondering if I should pay it?

Would the danger in writing not be to admit a form of liability?

You could of course point out the illegality of their parking charges, and probably their notices which was done by others to Sainsburys some time ago - details are on this board somewhere

Personally I would not even bother with the time, effort and cost of a stamp

By the way BFG I read the first line and thought this fool must be mistaking me for his wife and ignored the rest. If your illiterate bored a** sits at home going through threads to be rude then go and get a life. Unlike you i dont have time to read through 100's of threads. Damn asking a question of this site hardly seems worth it the abuse is so unecessary!!!

And to think you actually sat there and posted an essay you really are bored lol.

I suspect very few people have time to read through hundreds of threads, however your very first post contained this line

"I've read a few post and the related article about private parking fines and they all say to not pay it."

What part of the posts that you read saying DO NOT PAY, did you not comprehend? Why did you feel the need to post? Very often asking a question of this site is indeed unnecessary as it will have been answered before.

And for info I am not bored at the moment, just watching some video being rendered so at a bit of a loose end.
