STEP AWAY FROM AMAZON WOMAN lol

I can see where your coming from but boy that is expensive. You would need a crane to get it out of the oven a serious manual handling issue.

    Happy birthday JulieJim and Mudbath

    :bdaycake::bdaycake:One each :D

Decuttered 4 parcels out of the house last night and one large one to go today, ebay stuff.

Went to order something, did not press submit order on payment page and the cheeky bleeders have took the money and processed it anyway. So not happy, rang and emailed and will no doubt will have to wait ages for reimbursement.

Having had a good look at the state of the house, realised I have a problem, its a sheet teep....:rotfl:.

Main issue appears to be books and clothes, they're breeding....I'm sure!:o

Rightio, best get on, better get some work done.;)

Oh No! They've been whispering to me too, and you just woke them up and reminded them where I was  They have bits of Le Creuset in our local TK M**x and I look EVERY time I go into town, they don't even need to match. Friend promised me she would take me to very posh nearby town to scour their many charity shops for some too. Has been put on hold owing to illness but you are not helping!:D

  • Morning lovelies

At last a bit of sunshine here today welcome relief I can tell you!!!

Went to my sisters last night en-masse; me, DH, DD1 and DD2, showed her the scan picture etc. Just driving off from hers and saw DS driving down so flagged him down so he could do a u turn and follow us back up home, he’d been to the gym. So ended up cooking again at 9 pm as they were all starving, can never fill DS up!

He’s finally told me why he’s got Xmas off; he’s going on a course in January to be on standby for Afghanistan. He only told me as the girls were saying “have you told mum yet” so he couldn’t get out of it. I know it’s what he wants to do but he’s my son and I worry. :(

Anyway, good news is that DH’s DD isn’t coming after all to live with us. Does that sound selfish on our behalf? Suppose it does but you know what I mean. It’s all calmed down up there now and they seem to be rubbing along ok. We have told her if she changes her mind she is more than welcome, but that it won’t be a case of flitting backwards and forwards as that would upset her education for a start.

DS is going to drive DD2 to ex boyfriends dad’s on Friday if he still hasn’t told him that they are having a baby. His dad works shifts so I would be at work so can’t take her. Ex boyfriend will be at work so won’t be able to stop her from telling his dad that she is pregnant. If he can’t ‘man up’ and tell him than somebody has to she says and his sister has said she won’t as she thinks one of them, ideally ex boyfriend, should tell him. Anyway DS will sit outside in the car and wait for her, if she’s longer than 15 minutes DD2 wants him to knock on the door, she does get on well still with his Dad, but I’m sure it will be a shock for him as he went through this last year with his own DD and won’t be expecting it to happen all over again with his DS. My DS is very sensible (well at times!) after all he is in the military police and will make sure that everything is ok. DD2 is just annoyed with ex boyfriend for burying his head in the sand. I think he’s just getting his head round it all and can’t/won’t/doesn’t know how to tell his dad.

Still writing the flylady cards in and amongst doing some actual work!! I promise they will be in the post tonight.

Flying – well did a wm load of towels and now in the td as don’t know/can’t trust the weather! DW on, s/s’d kitchen, emptied all the bins as it’s bin day today as well as recycling day and tidied up a few things

Triker - please stop putting P**n on the thread. Now I want one too.
juliejim and mudbath - Happy Birthday!
rosepink - run out of loo roll? A concept I find very difficult. I have palpatations if we get down to 8 rolls. Current stock is erm, 51 rolls. They were on offer :p
Greenbee - no wood smoke smell here. I knew the horrid draughty windows existed for a reason. Still no curtains up on the worst two :o.

DH has emptied the DW and tidied the play room  I suspect he has been kidnapped by aliens. I have emptied the upstairs bins and hoovered downstairs.

The realisation that I have no more time for child free shopping between now and Christmas has just hit me. Good job I was organised in anticipation of everything at work and at home going wonky. Two more trips to Dustyland to ruin peoples Christmas then things should get easier at work.
